https://youtu.be/rtKQaYjBxN0 funny thing is, like Neil Diamond and the Grateful Dead, people either love or hate TTB, I haven't seen any middle ground among my friends. one thing you can't argue is that they have fun.....and with 12 touring band members who all get equal pay according to an Interview I saw with Derek in 2011, it clearly is not a money grab.

...tribute to Mr. Lesh today,

march 19 1995 spectrum

well, because I made it to the 2 nights before
and then sold my tickets for 3/19
to take my lady to sunnier & warmer climes...
...I knew right away she was not like other girls...
for a much needed break from work

so imagine my horror upon
returning 6 days later...
...what the...UNBROKEN CHAIN!

well, after 36 yrs of life together
she is still the best in my life...

....once in a while you get shown the light
in the strangest of places if you look at it right...

PEACE!
One World in Harmony...

Starting with 11/1
Then did 11/7
And now 11/2
Later, 11/8 to compete with the horrible noise…

Received these in a big batch of stuff from our good friend here a couple years ago, but as is often the case with new big batches, these kinda have been neglected!

That's a great album alright. The other Dead I played over the last day or so was the first show from the Winterland 1973 box - 11/9/73. A great show - every musician on top form and working together. And the next 2 shows in the box are even better.

...with the hidden track on diP #13, been awhile>>>
scarlet > fire from 11/1/79

then onto 5/6/81 set 2 diP #13

sub pre-order purchased last PM,
-10%'er :)
now, it's hurry-up wait time lol
convinced myself that the
30 / 60 anniversaries will impact
the 4 installments choices
if TPTB don't make it happen,
then oh well,
it'll be the last sub

PEACE for ALL!

Good call DaveRock.

Imagine the reels of those shows being Plangentized/Normanized, and pressed onto vinyl.

Cnkd - I'd buy that box in a shot. It would be great if they did reissue it in that way. If they are reissuing boxes on vinyl, following on from the Fillmore West 1969 shows and those from May 5th-9th 1977, this would be an ideal choice.

Hit big chunk of 11/9/73 via yer synaptical jumpstart.
Now onto 11/9/79 II
to be followed by 11/8/85, then prolly some mellow jazz…maybe Pat M?
Bit of a personal theme today…

Howdy Brownie! Yass, need to go deep on the primal sooner than later!

BigBrownie, thanks for reminding me of 1.22.68, long time favorite show and primal. Looking forward to the new Miles boot. Oro, your mention of Pat M took me down a rabbit hole, seen him a bunch, all the way back to days with Lyle. Peak experience minimal but incredible, had a back stage pass after his show at the Kennedy Center in DC the night he was announced as NEA Jazzmaster. The band was exhausted from touring and headed off on an overnight bus to their next gig. New interview just posted, Rick Beato with Mike Stern, Mike had Pat as a teacher at Berklee, played with Miles, introduced by Billy Cobham. Beato is a superb interviewer, gets musicians talking, also check out his interview with Pat.

Some of hottest GD I have ever heard

WOW

Were you lucky enough to get the Road Trips copy of 5/26/93 back when released?

I missed buying it but my oft referred to friend Craig gave me a copy

I have all the road trips and bonus discs, I just did not recognize the date. I will revisit this though, it might have been 10 or15 years since I listened to it last. So a great late era PITB. I'm still engaged and will give it a spin.

If I did not have it already, based on your comment I would have hunted it down.
