    Thanks for trying

I think my brain is fried this time ... too weary to push further. I may have to bail which I never do. As I don't have dead base as a source, I suspect I am missing something or an error in setlist somewhere. I understand it is from right in there when I was seeing a lot of showa but I am lost today.

Several comenters on different sites bare eyewitness accounts about a Robert Hunter and Bonnie Rait afternoon show preceeding the GOGD in said city, and that the venue was ridiculously hot, as in sauna hot, and that during Iko Iko (which I have seen spelled Aiko Aiko on bumper stickers sold int he lot, and how I named one of my dogs), Jerry, Bobby and Donna were doing a hula hula dance. The drums pre-Iko came in at over 16 minutes, and 'twas Billy's 32nd B-Day. Before the encore, Phil says, "Actually, we seem to have lost our drummers. Let's give a hand for our drummers, shall we?"

i'm so stoked about today's selection. another huge slab of Dead!! a nearly 16 minute EOTW. that eyes outro is very cool. weird sounds from all the players as it flows towards drumz...

happy hunting, heads!

someone mentioned the hint a few years ago (not mine) about "asian girl band" which was the 5678's from the Wayne's World movie. that was a good one lol

THE 5.6.7.8’s were the all-female Japanese band featured in KILL BILL VOL. 1. I believe that “Cassandra” (was that her name?) was the only woman in the band in WAYNE’S WORLD… excellent!

I came back to correct myself because the 5678's were from Kill Bill. The band in Wayne's World is Crucial Taunt lol

I saw yesterday someone else also had an issue with relisten and it's still down for me this morning. I cleared the cache but it is still an issue. Others have the same or should I keep trying to fix it from this side?

But you don’t really need it today- I started from the beginning and found it pretty dang quickly on “the YouTube”

Belated congratulations BirthaLove, and thanks for the ETREE mention. Never used it before- it seems to connect really quickly to the Internet Archive and I’m sure it will come in handy in the future

Great show in my newly located state. A 1st set song hade me in awe as I was never expecting it. Just 4 songs later another had me in happy tears. On to the 2nd set, WOW it just blew me away... Yes, SMALLZ you're spot on about EOTW outro... Amazingly they throw out something I've always got into for a long time. Encore wait for it, because that's what they did.

Dave narrows it down to 15 years, lol.
Many, many possibilities.
Just gotta poke around I guess.
Maybe I'll just listen to the whole thing first which I seldom do. Usually save the full listen until after I enter. Nice lively start!
Cheers

ooh and a nice sized list to go thru makes it a proper search day

anyone having trouble getting relisten or archive to play the show.
had to use alternate means yesterday and had no way to sync which i like to do just to be sure.

.... Speedy but a fun listen. Back in the days of the cassette collection era you'd have these shows that you still held on to but were just approaching Chipmunk vocals territory. And hoped that a better copy would come into your hands down the road a piece. A bit north of the key of G right from the get go - caught my ears right away. Other night down the road on a nearby date has a wild combination that still surprises me in the segue.

it is interesting to see that the number of times this sequence was played while finite also was only once or twice a year.
first run got me down to 5.
using “attics” app to try syncing for now.
still very interesting to listen to changes from each year.
just sayin….info for those into more input.
happy hunting
you will know when u have it synced up right

Not sure if I got today's right. Taken an awful long time listening to various options and plumped for one after hours spent going backwards and forwards. Good job we're not a bunch of obsessive types eh?

... like the wild geese in the West
But I also popped onto this show first!
Not the best quality recordings of this show - nice that Dave's offering seems to bring out the keys much better than on the archive source I listened to. And another long set - Thank you!

What an enjoyable morning's romp through some truly fantastic shows - to finally get the ONE was a triumph - now to listen to the entire show. Thank you for a month of sweet tunes! The sound quality on this one is just stellar.

With four songs, I thought it would be easy.
Deadlists proved me wrong.
Then I listened. Shoulda done that first. Dummass...
Hit it on the second try.

Looked for a while for this China Cat Sunflower
Was a bit proud when I heard the right jingle peek through.
My mind was wandering a bit after the 10th or so try.
But I knew my time was coming any old day and the right notes seemed to shine my way.
Sometimes the songs that we hear are just songs from another show.
Hope you are able to discover these songs on your own.

Woke up to find out that I was going to be spending a considerable amount of time finding this show. For no good reason other than inattentiveness to detail. But what an educational search it has been. The jamming between Jerry and the keyboardist in the final 3 minutes or so during Eyes was absolutely mind blowingly pleasurable. I loved the bird sounds especially. Thanks for giving us such a wonderful sequence of music Mr. Lemieux!

As for today's hint I will just say.......barely.......or is that Bearly? Happy listening fellow Heads.

Especially for Bundubush - one of yours helped me out a few days back...

The hint today is actually helpful. Start at either end and you will find it before the end of the year.

I put this SBD up to one ear synched with an AUD of the same show in the other, causing both China cats observing to be very alarmed at the spontaneous dancing that ensued.
