Nobody's been updating where things are - so it's hard to figure when to expect these. The last entry was March 20, and it's now May 1. By my reconing, I figure we should be around 11 or 12 by now - maybe even 13.

Sorry, my attempts at joining the gaps with China Cat> Rider and with several gaps in the the Dark Star on 5/11 as well as similar 'uniting' of 5/4 tunes have proven unsuccessful. I did put in a call to one of my sons friends and am awaiting his computer expertise. So at this point I have still not sent out these shows and they are 'sitting here in limbo'. If he can't help, should I go ahead and send them on to you guys and see what someone might be able to do? After another listen, they are great shows but they would be much, much better with 'gap' elimination. So there you have it.

I am not THAT concerned with gaps. It seems that it has been decided that we should vine gapless music if possible. I have downloaded I-Tunes to achieve this. But it also seems that it is not possible or at least very difficult to eliminate gaps that ALREADY exist. Thus, Oroboros, if your copy of the Lyceum show has gaps on it, then you CAN'T eliminate them. If that is the case, then just mail them out as is. If your copy does not have gaps, maybe you could try downloading and using I-Tunes. Not a big deal to me either way. Sure I'd rather not have gaps but no biggie if there are.

was made tonight on 'healing' these shows (3 of 4 done). They will be ready to send shortly. An expert is helpful (how many times do I have to learn that?) and I should have called in the sound engineer from the start. What was I thinking? This 'sound stuff' isn't like painting the living room. Will get these out shortly. Heads up, and get back Truckin' on!

I am at work today but just received a call from my wife informing me that FOUR packages arrived today, all containing vines. Presumably, this is one of them. Two of the others are probably '68 and '85. Can't figure out what the other could be. While this is very exciting news, it is also a bit overwelming. Please be patient with me.

Heynow, I'm tickled that those shows are making the rounds. And you are all very welcome. It is my pleasure x100!!!!!!!!! As Richard once told me "To be able to pass along a show is as much fun as getting a new one, maybe even more". I gotta agree. And this Vineyard has blossomed and born fantastic fruit. "In and out of the Garden he goes". That the Grateful Dead planted for us 'once, so long ago'. The vineyard is a wonderful spot to play and share! Take care all, Tim

disregard the statements on the 5-4-27. "order rearraged to fit 3 discs" (the show is on 4 discs now to preserve the concert 'flow') and disregard the "I don't know how to fill the 'gaps" as these shows are now 'in concert order' as well as seamless, thanks to my son's buddy who is an sound engineer and was able to use his magic on the flaws. So much for the update. take care, viners.
