All of my Grateful Dead music and others (e.g. RatDog) are all there on my iPod. It's nice to jam out to a 1977 or 1990 Dead show while I take the R train (NYC subway) to work every morning at 6am while I read the paper. I am sure no one else is jamming to the Dead on the train at that time of day.

I just got it(I know, I know, I'm behind the times)and have begun to transfer all the discs that I can onto it. The pod takes a back seat to other things going on and if I weren't here typing, I could be downloading ( -;Now featuring: AC/DC-trying to get everything I can from these guys, always a 2nd favorite. The Doors-Jim and crew have been a staple for years DuckButter-A Steamboat Springs local band that ROCKS!! Of course the Grateful Dead: I own all of their studio stuff including Dick's Picks up to #36 Metallica-Love the earlier stuff and the S&M CD, different. Scorpions-Still lovin' you.....guys from the 80's Moe.-One of the premier jam bands out there today. Fillmore stuff is awesome(4/1-2/05) Pink Floyd-If you listen to music at all, Floyd should be somewhere in your collection. Widespread Panic-What can I say....I love this band. Just got home a few days ago from the Red Rocks shows and they BLEW ME AWAY. The best jam band out there today. Importing has been slow(P.O.S. computer does not help)but I will eventually get all of it on there. Any ideas on how to import cassettes? I have a ton of them and short of burning them onto discs and then importing them(consuming)I am at a loss. We........are the eyes of the world!!

I received my first i pod for xmas this year and everything on it is still new for it, but classics to me. Scarlet -Fire from Copps 3-22-90 is getting a lot of play. Those 2 nights in Canada were some of my all time fav shows. Sooooo much fun in Hamilton. Also, Fat Boy Slim "Better living through Chemistry" and Dead "Go to Nassau" I still have 400+ hours live dead on tape that is going to the computer soon. I can't wait. Some is some fine sounding material.

I've been adding files from old John Fahey LPs as well as Quicksilver Messenger Service and Slickee Boys (a new wave band from the DC area)...the latest addition is the Dead & NRPS playing at George Washington University on 10/23/70...a blockbuster concert, my second live show attended. It brings back a lot of emotions, both about the quality of the music and being 18 again!Jay

A little bit of everything. Plenty of Dead, Phish, Panic, and Umphrey's. Some oldschool jazz and blues. Van Morrison and other 60's and 70's Brit rock. Newest Dead is the Rocking the Cradle set (loving the Stella Blue and Shakedown) and 10/31/91 (Dark Star through the second set is amazing plus I've always been a big fan of Werewolves).
