I'M A KING BEE
Interview: David Lemieux and Jeffrey Norman
"You just had it done to you by the Grateful Dead, ladies and gentlemen, the Grateful Dead!" the promoter says at the end of the 12/26/69 show. Well said, says I!
Part 2 of this program is part 1 of an interview with archivist David Lemieux and engineer Jeffrey Norman, who collaborated to produce the wonderful 4-CD set Ladies and Gentlemen... The Grateful Dead. Taken from the band's last run at the Fillmore East in April 1971, this collection includes one of my all-time favorite "Dark Stars," which you'll hear in next week's Grateful Dead Hour post here on DeadNet.
Your requests are requested and your wishes are wished for! Browse and/or search the Grateful Dead Hour program logs on the GD Hour web site. Let me know if there's a particular program you'd like to hear, and feel free to post requests and comments here or by email to gdhour (at) dead.net
Thanks for listening! David Gans

Unfortunately, because they came directly from the vault I am not in a position to put them into circulation. Anyone who recorded the marathon off the air is welcome to do so, however!
