This was an amazing show. Opening with a startling Music Never Stops. Phenomenal Cumberland, ending with Phil stepping up to the mike and singing the corus of Cold Rain And snow.I was told Phil hadn't sung in years.

September 10-11, 1983 were my two favorite Grateful Dead concerts of the 80s. But then there was the New Years run of 81-82 , and I can’t forget Ventura 87,, now wait what about .
All true.
1983 was my first full year living in New Mexico after several years in Montana. To be able to roll down the Rio Grande from the home place north of Taos to see the Dead outside the city indifferent was joyous celebration. Rode with Turbo Tom who had driven down from the Blackfeet Rez. This was life with conviction and passion. The way it should be
