    The Wall Of Sound
I got to experience it, It was a very good show, used to the Spectrum, but something else must have been planned there or they thought maybe The Wall would work better here. I was stunned when I first saw the Wall, it was in Globe hanging from Ceiling mode with more of it behind the Band on the stage. My wife and I brought her sister and husband, who had never seen the Dead, but they had definitely heard them before, because of my LPs thaI would bring over, They had a real nice Stereo,Remember those Days. The Show was good and the Wall lived up to the Hype, bringing a mix that had each musician controlling their own levels with some help from the FOW engineer,(front of Wall). Great Show, For some reason, The Scarlett Begonias really stuck out that night and Donna Did a pretty good job of singinging her parts during the Jam, Band was ON, 1 Drummer, Mickey still on Hiatis,Was A great experience.

    beardless Jerry
when the Dead came out and jerry has shaved off his beard everyone was like 'where's jerry?' it was a dance concert-- we were gonna get seats but we got caught right in front of the stage so we stayed there FEEDBACK at halftime made the floorboards go into sine wave motion.....at least i think they did......

Ok ,Iactually got paid to be part of the security for these two shows at the phila.civic center.there is a dicks pick of this show and it mentions some people sitting backstage sitting in the lotus position ,meditating .I was one of those people.check out www.tprf.org to lean more.Anyway after the end of the show on the second night security formed an aisle for the band to leave out the back door.Jerry was like the last one of the band to leave and I said "goodnight Jerry" and he looked me right in my eyes and said "goodnight" with a beautiful gleem in his eyes and a smile.Peace
