Since things seem to have gone a bit haywire with the old New Vines topic, I'm starting a new one. Here's the basic info on what the deal is with vines, for those just joining us:

Dead.Net Vines - What It Is & How It Works
BACKGROUND: The concept of a "vine" is music sharing through conventional means (e.g. mailing cd's or dvd's) with the sign-up list being on-line. The basic idea is that someone starts (seeds) a vine, made up of one or multiple shows,and sends it via mail to the first person who signs up. That person makes a copy for themselves and sends the ORIGINAL media on to the next person on the list. As more people sign up, it continues to grow and grow - hence the name "vine".

I have moved and I am now back in California. I have been getting messages here and there about when more 95 shows are coming. I just wanted to say thanks for all the kind words out there. Theres some good music in there and the sound is the best I have to offer. I was at these shows and did get a patch for a lot of shows. However I knew something was up on the 19th when they were not handing out any patches. It would be nice to hear that show in all its glory, but I think what I have to offer will satisfy!

sorry for my delay in gettin some vines out. I will be sending everything out tomorrow. The Oct 94 shows take a lil gettin used to for me (not my fav lineup and songs) but still pretty solid playing. As for Summer 86, only auds exist for certain shows and these are the best I could find. If anyone has any other sources for suggestion please post before mary gives this vine a thread.

Just stoppin in to say hi. Haven't been around much as I have been busy with work and I've kinda fallen in love. Life is good. I'll stop in now and again and am going nowhere but will be vining less. Glad to see such an unexpected response to the 1983 Vines. I heard from Frisco a couple weeks ago. He is still working on the Oct 1994 Vine he posted about sometime ago. Said he's been busy lately. But in the meantime I do hope everyone enjoys the healthy dose of 1983. If anyone has any show(s)/tour(s)/year(s) they are lookin for pm me and I'll see what I can do.

Lost Shows From 1971 Vine
I was looking through some of my earlier 71 shows with Pig and didn't realize that these were missing from the vineyard. There is a few repeats from vines that have perished but as always some gems in the bunch.

Some Missing Pieces of 1972 Vine (Revised)
This vine includes some shows that were overlooked here in the vineyard.With Mary's permission, I am reseeding this vine without the E72 shows that were originally a part of it and adding in some extras.
Among these are Pig's last show (a much upgraded source that is complete and has the NRPS as well) and a Set 2 Partial from 10/21 that is very Phil heavy. That is all that circulates from that show unfortunately.
Some of 7/22 was released as filler from the Download Series Vol 10 so that has been omitted from this as well.
