Pink Floyd: Everything Under the Sun Part 1
The 4-part Led Zeppelin vine was so well-received that I had to do it for another of our favorite classic rock bands. So here it is, the long-awaited, much-hyped first part of a Pink Floyd vine. This part contains 4 FLAC discs and covers 1969-1972, from the Man of the Journey in '69, through the great Fat Old Suns, Atom Heart Mothers and Echoes of '70 and '71, to the pre-album-release versions of Dark Side of the Moon. The '70 and '71 shows are my favorites (along with '77, which will come later), but let me note how interesting these early versions of DSOTM are. Some songs are played too slow, see Time especially, and were much-improved by the time of the album's release. Others, like On the Run, I think lost something when technology and tape loops replaced musicianship. Come to your own decisions, my friends, and enjoy everything under the sun... Part 1 includes: 5/9/69 AUD A- 8/9/69 SBD A 9/17/69 SBD A 2/28/70 AUD A- 3/20/70 AUD A-/A 4/29/70 (no grade, if I recall this is probably a SBD A) 5/1/70 AUD A- 7/16/70 SBD A+ 9/26/70 AUD A 10/17/70 AUD A- 11/12/70 AUD A 11/21/70 AUD A/A- 2/25/71 AUD A/A- 6/5/71 AUD A- 6/26/71 AUD A- 9/18/71 SBD A- 9/23/71 AUD A-/A 9/30/71 (no grade, probably SBD or AUD A) 10/10/71 AUD A- 10/17/71 AUD A 11/6/71 AUD A 11/20/71 AUD A/A- 2/17/72 AUD B+/A- 2/18/72 AUD B+ 2/19/72 AUD B+/A 2/20/72 AUD A/A- 3/7/72 AUD A/A- 3/13/72 AUD A/A-

    Farewell To The Godchauxs' Vine
Blair's recent blog about the Godchauxs final tour got me to relisten to it. There are some duds and some shows only have one source in circulation as of now. But there are a few upgraded sources from the vines that some of these were on and have since long been perished and some decent shows here. Again, offering up some sbd's, aud's and mtx's for those who are interested. gd79-01-05.naks.wiley.17342.sbeok.shnf (Only Source) gd79-01-07.aud.nak300.miller.87739.sbeok.flac16 gd79-01-08.nak300.miller.87657.sbeok.flac16 gd79-01-10.sony-senn.wagner.miller.113114.flac16 gd79-01-11.sbd-fixed.miller.102446.flac1644 gd79-01-11.gatto.kempka.308.sbeok.shnf gd79-01-12.claridge.kempka.309.sbeok.shnf (Only Source) gd79-01-14.nak300.wiley-miller.18460.sbeok.shnf (Only Source) gd79-01-15.sbd.miller.102389.flac16 gd79-01-15.fob-nak300.rolfe-miller.90095.sbeok.flac16 gd79-01-15.111592.mtx.chappell.sb32.flac16 gd79-01-17.sbd.miller.102443.flac16 gd79-01-17.nak301.rolfe.miller.99009.sbeok.flac16 gd79-01-17.mtx.mccabe.91783.sbeok.flac16 gd79-01-18.sbd.miller.Patched.103186.flac16 gd79-01-18.nak300.rolfe.miller.100209.sbeok.flac16 gd79-01-20.nak700.moore.bertha.100025.flac16 gd79-01-21.aud.cole.19083.sbeok.shnf (Only Source) gd79-02-03.s1.sbd.fixed.miller.102876.flac16 gd79-02-03.aud.set1.warner.19414.sbeok.shnf gd79-02-03.set2-nak.clugston.7116.sbeok.shnf gd79-02-04.set1-fob-nak700.miller.32016.sbeok.flacf gd79-02-04.nak700.glyde.18888.sbeok.shnf gd79-02-07.sbd.cotsman.13879.sbeok.shnf (Valium Show) gd79-02-09.aud-nak.glyde.13848.sbeok.shnf (Only Source) gd79-02-10.set2.sbd.miller.97352.sbeok.flac16 gd79-02-10.sonyecm250.walker-scotton.miller.fix.97354.sbeok.flac16 gd79-02-11.naks.vernon.16468.sbeok.shnf (Very Distant; Only Source) gd79-02-17.ptch-sbd.tobin.105606.flac16 gd79-02-17.fob.menke.motb-0110.105240.flac16 gd79-02-17.mtx.tobin.105619.flac16 1. dstache

I also read somewhere that miller had an upgrade of 11/19. It was posted by him so it must have been on one of the torrent sites but that was a couple years ago (if memory serves right) and there is no upgrade yet (to my knowledge). I have posted my reseed of autumn 72 (Sept) and there are some alternate sources on that and there will be alternate sources for all of the 1972 Vines I reseed. I will post them accordingly. Thanks everyone for your patience and if there is anything anyone is lookinf for please PM me

There is a discussion in the Taper's Section from the week of 9/17 re: fall '72 and it got me thinking about Oct/Nov and the less than stellar sound quality of much of what circulates from the period. I found that there are some upgrades to a few of the shows. If anyone has them or can download them and vine 'em, that would be great. Sorry if one or more have already been vined and I overlooked it. And if you know of more upgrades that just aren't on Archive yet, even better. ~~~~Don't reply Until Marye posts this Vine~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Hello everyone! It's been a while since I did 1995 pt 1. I took some time off and toured with Furthur. I have moved and I am now back in California. I have been getting messages here and there about when more 95 shows are coming. I just wanted to say thanks for all the kind words out there. Sorry it took me a while to get this part out but good things come to those who wait... Here you go! Included are 9 CD's of music. 1995 GD Vine Part 2 "Spring Tour" 3-17,18, 19, 95 Spectrum, Philadelphia, PA 3/17/95 Spectrum SBD>DAT>Sonic>CD Gen: Clone SQ: A (Set One) H.C Sunshine Wang Dang Doodle Peggy-O Queen Jane Lazy River Road Eternity Loose Lucy (Set Two) China Cat> I Know You Rider Samba> Truckin> Drumz> Watchtower> SOTM> Sugar Magnolia E: Lucy In The Sky 3/18/95 Spectrum SBD>DAT>Sonic>CD Gen: Clone SQ: A (Set One) Bucket West LA El Paso @ Ramble On Tom Thumb Blues Jack-A-Roe Promised (Set Two) All Too Much* 1st time live Iko Iko Playin> Uncle John> Drumz> Jam> Last Time> Visions Of Johanna> Saturday Night E: Rain 3/19/95 Spectrum AUD>FOB>DAT>Sonic>CD Gen: Clone SQ: A- Mikes: Schoeps MK-41 (Set One) Alabama Walking Blues So Many Roads Easy Answers> Don't Ease Unbroken Chain* 1st time live Unbroken Chain Soundcheck 3/17/95 (Set Two) Samson Way To Go Crazy Fingers> Corinna> Matilda> Drumz> Miracle> Stella Blue> NFA E: Brokedown Theres some good music in there and the sound is the best I have to offer. I was at these shows and did get a patch for a lot of shows. However I knew something was up on the 19th when they were not handing out any patches. It would be nice to hear that show in all its glory, but I think what I have to offer will satisfy! GD 1995 Spring Tour Vine Part 3 Charlotte NC 3-22,23,24,1995 will be coming in the next week or so... I am going to be putting these out 1 to 2 times per month. That is if you all want these shows.Feedback is appreciated.

sorry for my delay in gettin some vines out. I will be sending everything out tomorrow. The Oct 94 shows take a lil gettin used to for me (not my fav lineup and songs) but still pretty solid playing. As for Summer 86, only auds exist for certain shows and these are the best I could find. If anyone has any other sources for suggestion please post before mary gives this vine a thread.

Hi folk's I'd like to finally offer up some shows by Canadian bands as a thank-you for all the music I've acquired through the vineyard. It's been giving for a long time. I hope you enjoy! The Sheepdogs 12/29/11- Vancouver 03/26/10- CBC Radio broadcast 10/03/11- Saskatoon The Guess Who 11/20/72- Buddakan, Tokyo Japan 01/16/75- Electric Lady Studios 09/07/01- Buffalo I'm throwing in a couple recent Tragically Hip shows from their European tour also. Just for shits and giggles. A Mix of Aud and Matrix and Fm All Flac on 2 DVDs Notes: Everybody knows the "greatness" of Rush and uncle Neil. I thought I'd give the little guys a shot here. The Sheepdogs are my inspiration for this vine. I'm sure they will always have haters because of the RSM cover contest but these guys bring the goods every night, and deserve to be heard. A BIG thanks to Lopezz for these shows. A big thanks also to anyone whose ever seeded. You know who you are.

I have provided some auds as well as sbds for a couple of shows for those who are aud seekers and those who are sbd collectors. 1983 was also when Charlie Miller started taping shows. gd83-03-25.sbd.miller.23572.sbeok.shnf gd83-03-26.neumann.miller.81092.sbeok.flac16 gd83-03-27.sennheiser.dodd.11261.sbeok.shnf gd83-03-29.sennheiser.dodd.11262.sbeok.shnf gd83-03-30.sbd.miller.77081.sbeok.flac16 gd83-03-31.mtx.seamons.94016.sbeok.flac16 gd83-03-31.sbd.miller.77086.sbeok.flac16 gd83-04-09.mtx.seamons.ht38.97109.flac16 gd83-04-09.sbd.miller.93145.sbeok.flac16 gd83-04-10.sbd.harrell.16579.sbeok.shnf gd83-04-12.set2.pcm-sbd.miller.30808.sbeok.flacf gd83-04-12.sbd.patched.drgseeds.17264.sbeok.shnf gd83-04-13.sbd.wise.1614.shn gd83-04-13.mtx.seamons.113852.flac16 gd83-04-15.fob.atm.nodolby.miller.94282.sbeok.flac16 gd83-04-15.sbd.miller.32780.sbeok.flac16 gd83-04-16.fob-miller.set2.23851.sbeok.shnf gd83-04-16.sbd.miller.28294.sbeok.flac16 gd83-04-17.aud-miller.set1.23852.sbeok.shnf gd83-04-17.sbd.fink.14941.sbeok.shnf (thin sound) gd83-04-17.rolfe.weiner.7317.sbeok.shnf (fuller sound) gd83-04-19.senn421.wise.miller.21922.sbeok.shnf gd83-04-19.sbd.set1.lai.3856.sbefail.shnf gd83-04-20.sbd.miller.27860.sbeok.flac16 gd83-04-22.beyer-m88.morrone.119987.flac16 gd83-04-22.nak300.morris.102045.sbeok.flac16 gd83-04-23.s2.senn421.miller.119873.flac16 gd83-04-23.sbd.set2.miller.29469.sbeok.flac16 gd83-04-23.fob.senn421.patched.sirmick.96150.sbeok.flac16 gd83-04-25.fob.nak700.coyotte.muletaper.88164.sbeok.flac16 gd83-04-25.s1.senn421.miller.119642.flac16 gd83-04-26.sbd.miller.97544.sbeok.flac16 gd83-05-13.sbd.miller.95059.sbeok.flac16 gd83-05-13.fob.sonyecm220t.keshavan.miller.fix.94514.sbeok.flac16 gd83-05-14.set1.sbd.samaritano-edited.repatched.91136.sbefail.flac16 gd83-05-14.fob.sonyecm220t.keshavan.miller.fix.94515.sbeok.flac16 gd83-05-15.fob.sonyecm220t.keshavan.miller.fix.94516.sbeok.flac16 1. dstache

This includes all the shows from Summer 1983 except what was posted on the Merriweather 1983 Vine. Just like in the Spring 1983 Vine, I have included some auds and sbds. I gotta say some of these auds are as good/better than the sbds. gd83-06-22.fob.senn.andrewf.92208.flac16 gd83-06-22.senn-akg-mckeown.willy.14908.sbeok.shnf gd83-06-24.senn421.bethke.118888.flac16 gd83-06-25.aud.dodd.11802.sbeok.shnf gd83-06-25.Tascam.Darby.118005.Flac16 (only source with complete drums; beginning of Jack Straw missing) gd83-06-27.senn441.miller.89790.sbeok.flac16 gd83-06-28.fob.senn441.miller.28361.sbeok.flac16 gd83-07-30.fob.sony220t.keshavan.miller.96401.sbeok.flac16 gd83-07-31.sbd.miller.88149.sbeok.flac16 gd83-08-20.sony220t.keshavan.miller.96387.sbeok.flac16 gd83-08-21.fob.sonyECM220t.kirschner.miller.95672.sbeok.flac16 gd83-08-26.sennheiser.dodd.12258 (distant sound; full show) gd83-08-26.Sennheiser421-daweez.D5scott.110903.flac16 (fuller sound; drums cut) gd83-08-27.aud.hinko.16439.sbeok.shnf gd83-08-29.sbd.willy.11603.sbeok.shnf gd83-08-30.sbd.dodd.15110.sbeok.shnf (thin) gd83-08-30.senn421.nfagdtrfbyahoo.29342.sbefail.flac16 (much better than sbd) gd83-08-31.aud.unknown.34928.flac16 gd83-09-02.mtx.seamons.ht53.100930.flac16 gd83-09-02.sbd.unknown.tetzeli.fix-2174.33819.sbeok.shnf gd83-09-04.sbd.miller.117185.flac16 gd83-09-04.nak300.morris.102050.sbeok.flac16 gd83-10-11.mtx.dusborne.120001.flac16 gd83-10-18.senn441-u87.eaton.miller.91344.sbeok.flac16

Glad to see such an unexpected response to the 1983 Vines. I heard from Frisco a couple weeks ago. He is still working on the Oct 1994 Vine he posted about sometime ago. Said he's been busy lately. But in the meantime I do hope everyone enjoys the healthy dose of 1983. If anyone has any show(s)/tour(s)/year(s) they are lookin for pm me and I'll see what I can do.

I was looking through some of my earlier 71 shows with Pig and didn't realize that these were missing from the vineyard. There is a few repeats from vines that have perished but as always some gems in the bunch. Caveat Emptor: These auds do show the ravages of time but please give em a chance. gd71-01-22.sbd.cotsman.12592.sbeok.shnf gd71-01-24.sbd.lai.6247.sbefail.shnf gd71-02-21.sbd.miller.116618.flac16 gd71-02-24sbd-digitalrbb-miller.121065 gd71-03-03.sbd.lai.6248.sbefail.shnf_shn gd71-03-18.sbd.yerys.1663.sbeok.shnf gd71-03-20.sbd.barbella.5582.sbeok.shnf gd71-03-21.aud.cotsman.12074.sbeok.shnf gd71-03-24.sbd.miller.85585.sbeok.flac16 gd71-05-29.aud.cotsman.19153.sbeok.shnf gd71-05-29.sbd.miller.110324.flac16 gd71-05-30.aud.miller.31968.sbeok.flacf gd71-05-30.sbd.miller.94119.flac16 gd71-06-21.sbd.miller.94356.sbeok.flac16 gd71-07-02.prefm.cribbs.33659.flacf gd71-07-02.pre-FMwithFMdedication.flac16 gd71-07-02.sbd.backus.11798.sbeok.shnf

I really should have reviewed my post furthur before I submitted. The first two can get deleted and the last one is the final one. I burned these and realized that I missed of yet another source than whats listed. I guess it was cause it was late here for me in the Terrapin State; couldnt have been anything else cause I've been 77 days sober now (and counting).

Yea I've had some issues before that I posted about with copying files while under the influence and deleting them in the process. But I feel good. Definitely miss the company of Mr. Daniels

If you want the whole show, copy both sources. '77 SBD lovers, hold your horses for a bit-I have 5 of those to include on the next part. Enjoy!

This vine includes some shows that were overlooked here in the vineyard. With Mary's permission, I am reseeding this vine without the E72 shows that were originally a part of it and adding in some extras. Among these are Pig's last show (a much upgraded source that is complete and has the NRPS as well) and a Set 2 Partial from 10/21 that is very Phil heavy. That is all that circulates from that show unfortunately. Some of 7/22 was released as filler from the Download Series Vol 10 so that has been omitted from this as well. gd72-06-17.shure.melton.miller.116272.flac16 nrps72-06-17.shure.melton.miller.116338.flac16 gd72-07-22.sbd.miller.94112.sbeok.flac16 gd72-08-12.GEMS.SBD.Boswell-Smith.105132.flac16 gd72-09-23.sbd.jeffm.2201.sbeok.shnf gd72-10-21.sbd.miller.94409.sbeok.flac16
