Talk about them here!
Big Lebowski Convention
In addition to being a great live band, they have been the MC for several Big Lebowski Conventions in their home state of Kentucky. Jim James does a great Jeffery Lebowski, er The Dude....
The Dude Abides!
about my Morning Jacket! I
about my Morning Jacket! I got too see them on PPS. I ran out and bought the live CD. What talent! hope to catch them in 08 some where in Californy If anyone else has any info please leave a note. I tried to figure out some of their inflences. best I came up with was a little LynardSkin with a little of the Dead boys and more.
Plug for KEXP
I have heard them while streaming KEXP.org (great Seattle indie station)...Good band and I know they have come up to the northwest and have yet to make a show. Sounds like a band Id like to see...

Indian Summer
When i was in college back at Georgia, Athens (UGA) grad 1989 I saw areal cool band called Indian Summer from Chapel Hill NC (UNC), anyone ever hear of them?
Incredible band...probably
Incredible band...probably my favorite live band to see currently. There is no describing what they do live.
Bonnaroooooooo
They played almost 5 hours straight last year, jamming to some James Brown. I saw them again live in Columbus, super sweet show. All their albums are great straight through, however their name sounds like an Emo band.
These boys are the real deal!
As far as I am concerned, these guys are the REAL DEAL! I have seen them every year since '04, including a magical night at Radio City, and they continue to amaze me with both their live performances AND their studio work! Their latest "Circuital" is brilliant! If you haven't check them out... I cannot imagine you will be disappointed!
This band blows chunks
saw them open 4 Dylan at Red Rocks, what a pathetic group of losers. Who follows this shit needs to go buy some Kinks albums, or Judas Priest, bands that can actually play SONGS, not garbage in the vein of "jamming." want to jam, start a band, play an instrument, why waste time to this jerk-off?
Circuital
I heard a random song in the mall about 7 years ago and grabbed a piece of the lyrics in my head and looked it up when I got home. It was this band, and I promptly bought the album Circuital, which the song was from. Zero regrets. I listen to it quite a bit, to the point I should try another one of their records. It makes me think of a 60's psychedelic band with Paul McCartney as the vocalist.
