Steve and Jerry
I thought this was a special way to end the Vegas run A 10 song second second. It was memorable after the past 2 days...And off to the East Coast with SMB...
Steve Miller
Steve Miller actually jams with the Dead at this show during Spoonful all the way through Morning Dew. Extremly cool show.
good stuff & GREAT Second Set on this nite.
jerry with the tiger striped SWEATPants~! OMG, those were so funny.Had a VHS of Set 2, wish I knew where it went. Oh well.
“The Omnipotent Grateful Dead!”
Steve Miller
When they were playing Baba O'Rielly (2nd time played) Bobby and Steve Miller weere having a blast feigning Pete Townshend windmills and leaps.
What a setlist!
Gobs o fun. Too much hilarity looking around at happy faces shouting "they're all wasted!" during Baba encore. Loved the train effect during drumz and the snap crackle pop drums during Tomorrow Never Knows encore. Stevie guitar Miller brought along the Freedom Rock weekend feel.
Best show of the Vegas
Best show of the Vegas three. A great way to spend my 25th Birthday!!! Years later I found an unused mint condition mail order ticket on E-Bay. 12.00 bucks and all mine. Great, great memories of that run!
Steve Miller/Sam Boyd
One of the best times I've ever had; and I think I must have found the vhs copy of set two that johnnyg was talking about!
my picture
The picture I put on here is actually from Saturday's show.
marshmallow fight!!
i believe it was this show that during intermission a whole bunch of folks down by the water drizzler on the floor bent over and swooosh...handfuls of marshmallows came whizzing to the seats above. they got tossed back and forth, and the wetter they got, the stickier they got! i can still hear the "thunk" as they'd hit us....and stick. once since then, i have met in my travels, another head who was at that show and brought up the marshmallows!!!! he was sitting on the other side of arena laughing his a** off wondering what *that* was all about! heehee~roche
Dead in the Desert
The Steve Miller / Dead shows were always my favorite. The other years had high moments... but something about Vegas 92 always sticks with me as magical. From camping at the lake in Henderson to the trippy weather. Great set of shows to end the summer run on the West Coast.
Drove over from Phoenix with a close ASU friend. Was hot but we were used to it. Quite a nice show.
