    I fainted
This was the second to last show I saw. I fainted from the heat and too much smoke. Hardly remember a thing, but it still counts, right!

    My Favorite
Of my eleven dead shows, this was my favorite. "Goin' Down the Road" was long-awaited, and as good as ever. Watching the full moon rise as Jerry sang "Standing" was nearly spiritual. Does anyone know how I would go about getting a tape of this show? Thanks.

My only Grateful Dead show (14 yrs old) but it was ragin'. Middle of the desert, full moon, hot as hell til the sun went down. The moon was superimposed over Jerry on the screens during "Standing" A good first show with many more to come, still my favorite of all time! "Mama mama many worlds I've come since I first left home"

unknown to me, this was my last show.....this was also my first west coast show of what i thought would be many.......hot?... probably but didn't care... i brought 2 newcomers with me and watching their experience fulfilled mine (althea and aiko/samba were icing on the cake!!!)...dave mathews opened and few people had heard of them (including me!)...great stuff...i am happy i saw jerry one last time...miss him/them dearly................. Consciously enjoying our experience with all my brothers and sisters.

My brother came to Maine and picked me up and drove me to Colorado (where he lived) and then on to Vegas. My sweet 16 bday gift was this show! For the Traffic set we were 10 feet in front of the stage...he wandered off and I stayed put. I was literally overwhelmed and engulfed by the magic of the people and the music. And it was HOT as HELL! I remember them hosing people down from the bleachers.

Having long been a Traffic fan, this was one of the best. Drove down from Oregon and saw the first show only, wish I'd not had to go back to work. Staying in the casino with ten thousand tie died Dead Heads was a trip. Remember having to pay some outrageous money for one night in a mediocre old motel on the strip. The Standing on the Moon was one of the best I saw, but again, you could tell Jerry was tired. Remember having rubber legs from dancing all day and into the night. Standing under the spray nozzles around the edges of the field to cool down, then diving back into the crowd. Getting out of Sam Boyd parking lot through the Vegas police was not so much fun.
