    intriguing
Deadhead friends , I write because i have an intriguing theory or ' comment ' to make regarding 1977 gd . The band recorded Terrapin St that year , with Mr Keith Olsen , whom had done work already with some well renwoned names in the m industry , and was a good variable in the Dead s style for recording a record . But , reading Blair Jackson s GD gear , during the recording . the band was not meting the quality perfromance levels Olsen expected . At one point , Olsen asked the band to do some more takes of say.. Samson & Delilah and Bobby W said ' we dont play better than that ' . And Olsen told them ' Im GOING to make you play better than that ' etc .. And they did .. Would that be a reason , then friends why the Dead played so well in 1977 ? . Conditioned by an excellent music producer . The record is great . Makes sense to me , that the band sounded so tight that year .. on most of their performances . Sorry to take up space where maybe another topic should be the centerpiece of discussion , but that year has great moments Jaime G p.s. Great pick this week D
