    Not bad....Not bad at all
This link sounds pretty good. I am anxious for the discs to arrive; will make great traveling music to sooth the soul on the So.Cal freeways. I hope the discs arrive in time in October so that they can be played on the anniversary of the original show in Chicago. I would enjoy that immensely.

Indeed...I panicked a little when the discs didn't arrive but I've talked to customer service and they seem to be on top of it. This will tide me over in the meantime.

My only question is how is this going to work with the numbering on the back of the album cover. Will it still be numbered out of 12,000? If it is, how will you know which numbers have actually been lost in the mail? I paid for a limited edition copy and expect to get a limited edition copy. But i have no clue how this will work now that you have no idea which numbers were lost in the mail. Please explain.

I don't think it is possible to get original numbering right. I understand your worrying , I like these limited numbered editions too. Good thing is that now we are getting a very very special limited edition. Maybe its for example 250 pieces. So these will be real collectors item. Worth $$$$ ;-). How about # 1/250. Mistakes happen. Main thing is that they are now correcting it properly.

I have to admit that this sucks. A few hundred copies lost? I wonder if they'll show up on Ebay. I hope it doesn't take too long. They say October, but we'll see...

I just got mine in the mail today, in France. So it wasn't as lost as they thought. Maybe others will get theirs too?

My copy turned up in the post here in the UK today (17th Sep). It all seems pretty odd to me - the post mark stamp is for 7th September and the customs declaration was filled in on 7th September, and it hasn't got the true value of the CD (never seen that on dead.net orders before) - so was it lost in the warehouse or did the US Mail fill in another declaration? Also the paperwork in the box just has the letter heading & a description of the item - no Order Number, Shipping Address, Customer Reference etc. - all the things I have had on every other dead.net order that I've ever received.
