    I've noticed a lot of people I know as true Dead Heads who are Trump supporters. This truly confuses me. To me it goes against everything that we stand for. I don't think if Jerry were alive that he would agree with it either. What are your thoughts?

    The obvious advice would be to back up your physical discs with lossless digital before the problem exacerbates. No doubt, skipping discs are frustrating.

    Deteriorating Cd's

    Recently, I have noticed that some of my favorite GD CDs are developing skips and other sound anomalies that previously didn't exist. It has happened on DP vol 2, Road trips Boston Music Hall 1976, and GD Movie Soundtrack. Has this ever happened to you? Is it just that the discs are poor quality? Heartbreaking when it is sometimes hard to find a replacement. Any answers? Thanks in advance.

    New releases/Limited production

    Just got the notification for Dave's Picks vol 29 and was very excited to purchase only to find the release already sold out. This has happened a number of times......the 77 Colgate University Show was another I missed out on. Is there any possibility at some point these shows will get released again. Any possibility increasing the release production to 40,000 instead of 20,000. I know the standard solution is to subscribe to the series but I can't afford to do that. Sad to be missing out.

    where is the "my shows" feature? And why does 2/25/95 show up in the archive when 2/24/95 is selected....was reported as not functioning properly several times and yet...

    this site is not up to Dead standards of quality. Very frustrated.

    Thank you for your response and ideas. I was hoping to find a fan that would want it. And this place is full of them. Is there not a place on the site to post something like this? Plus with auctions you have to pay a percentage and I'd rather sell the painting for less to someone that really wants it. Again, thank you very much for your help. I think it could be done, though I tear my hair at the thought of retrofitting what's already up. It's a good idea, as we've been getting a lot more artwork from folks lately.

The package was up for pre-order for a few hours, including a new Road Trips volume (Winterland From Egypt with Love), then gone again. Very confusing.

howdy again... just a quick question... who or what would i get in touch with concerning GD copyright laws... im just an artist who makes shirts of my art from time to time and was wondering who i should seek to get permission to do so... as in some of my work contains the stealie face...and the bolt... and to what degree i should tweak my art as too it is not breaking any copy right laws... and i hope its not warner bros...but if it is...any contact info you could provide would be delicious... would be grateful if you fine folks could show me the way..-forver grateful...-capt space...

It is indeed where people who sign up share shows by passing them along for the next person to copy the CDs and then send them on. There is a variety of Grateful Dead, Garcia, Ratdog, Phil & Friends and even other artists music to share. Click back to forums, then scroll down to the vineyard, click and browse.

its because no-one pays attention to the independent candidates, most of us are just concerned with the two bloated bloodsucking political parties that have the most money (our money of course) that's all they see. you must look beyond these vampires....plenty of other candidates out there but it's harder for them to get on the ballot, because, again, money!!

Im so sad that all of the tickets are sold out for the Dead Heads For Obama Concert at the Warfield!!! You guys need to have another show so the rest of your fans can have a chance of seeing the greatest band ever supporting the best presidential candidate of our generation!! I have a question: say I wanted to make sure dead.net folks were aware that HeadCount was auctioning off certain music-related items, like: 1. A Warren Haynes, custom Gibson Les Paul Guitar, signed by Warren himself 2. A Pearl Jam poster from their 2008 tour, signed by every band member 3. A Fender guitar signed by every member of the Allman Brothers Band and Bob Weir & RatDog 4. A guitar signed by every member of My Morning Jacket 5. A Rothbury poster signed by Snoop Dogg, Dave Matthews and three members of Phish 6. A Mile High Festival poster signed by Dave Matthews, John Mayer and 10 others 7. A pair of Congas played by Jay Lane of RatDog along side Bob Weir at a historic private performance in Washington D.C. on April 7th (signed by both) Where would I post something like that? No gdh this week is posted. I called DG on the air at KPFA last night and he said he had e mailed one to dead.net. what is the problem? lethedoom
