    Grateful Dead All-Night Driving Team
Drove all night to this show solo from college in Ohio. In the 800th hour of driving pulled over at a gas station and painted "Grateful Dead All Night Driving Team" on the side of the car (see photo archived on this web page). Got waved over later by an older gentleman who told me that he was the father of Candice (the Dead's lighting person). Might have been true... I always wanted the Dead to play at MY college... until I saw this show. They opened the hall, and in the first two minutes someone accidently ripped the door right off the hinges. Oops. (This story correctly goes with this show; I accidentally posted it to the Penn State show by mistake!) Glen

This show took place at Lafayette College. Not Fade Away features a visit by John Cippolina from Quicksilver Messenger Service.

This was my very first Dead show! I was 17 and 1 month away from graduating high school. My girlfriend & I snuck in (over or around the fence in back I think); we were late cause I had to get myself fired from my job at McD's before I could go! If my friend who was with me recognizes this, please respond. We lost touch soon after that, but I remember you had a bumper sticker with a pot leaf on it or something similar. I'm in Lebanon, PA now after decades of wandering!

Tickets were only supposed to go to students of colleges in Lehigh Valley. A friend lived in the area and knew people who went to LVCC. He was able to get a pair of tickets. The hall may have been half full and Phil urged everyone to come closer to the stage. I'm not sure if the low attendance was because of the restriction on the sale of tickets, the fact that it was finals week in those schools, or that it was just the 5th show Brent played. I don't really care, I have great memories from the show, especially Around and Around.

I have listened to most of those tracks that are listed down here. In fact, my dad was a great fan of you guys. And he did have a huge collection of the works done by The Dead. anti snoring aids
