Good Morning, xoSigh Got a long weekend by chance of the present work load. In the middle of a full-house-kinda-show and I am so greatly pleased- the hand stands, a win... to be sure! Lots to do, anyways but so what things have to be done, goes like that. I, indeed will rest along way. May you find yourself in a moment of nothingness that is a gentle reminder of the molecular energy of dust. This house is vibrating! The sound abounds. Jam :) It's Friday here, all day. Phew, miracles, received. got miracles? Thank You! Love to You, All, xoxoxo ->When all the cards are down... ->Dust off those... -------------------------------------------(-----@

Welcome back to the Tapers' Section, where this week we have music from 1972, 1982 and 1984.

Our first stop this week is in beautiful Austin, TX on 11/22/72, where we have the big second set jam of He's Gone>Truckin'>Jam>Drums>The Other One>Bass solo>Jam>The Other One>Stella Blue. There's a bit of a cut in the jam before the last part of The Other One, but such is the cost of tape with a 46 minute running time.

Next up is music from 9/23/82 in New Haven, CT, where we have the end of the first set and the start of the second set, featuring Althea, Let It Grow, Touch of Grey, Lost Sailor>Saint of Circumstance.

Lastly this week is the entire second set from 10/28/84 at the Berkeley Community Theatre, featuring Terrapin Station>Playing In The Band>China Doll>Drums>Space>The Wheel>Throwing Stones>Not Fade Away. This is the second of a six night run of shows at BCT, with the run being the first to include an official tapers' section.

Thanks for dropping by, and be sure to join us next week for more tunes from the vault.

Thanks, Dave, for these gems. I'm figuring there must gave been good reasons for no multiple release -- but I always enjoy seeing them here and on other parts of this site, like the post drums segment for Halloween.

just watched an excellent concert from austin city limits on pbs last night. what a lucky city. the dead must have really liked this place too; sure seemed to really go the extra mile for these folks. the "cut in the jam" doesn't matter at all........ this 11/22/72 sequence is "pure" outstanding. from one libra to another..........happy b-day bob!

In the 11/2272, sweet jams through out, xo! Was fathoming a Heaven in a specific kinda way. Land? Air? Sea? Cloud? Planet? Hmmm what could it be? I had read somewhere that it was like earth because it could indeed be like here. Soooo.. then I thought of Earth as itself and knew I'd been beat three-of-a-kind to a pair. Then I dealt another hand. It's just arriving at place of nothing -that's ever been, in there is where true inspiration is sparked. As it is easy to see what does not work and what does. Heaven has people there to be sure? Well, if it did. It would have men, women, children, animals of every kind? Of the water and air the same? Perhaps they exist there and live on in the absence of harm, abuse and neglect? For the Heavens then, to be there itself. They each one could -even take up good sport with one another: for the sake of all good things to all. It's National Domestic Violence Awareness Month I wonder if Heaven observed Us as a Nation; it would probally call the Red Cross for emergency Love Transfusions or something, families and lovers are not supposed to hurt each other, to be sure. Wow! I hope everyone gets..the... AWARENESS OCTOBER PROMISES Heaven on Earth must be better than Earth On Earth Are you aware I am just thinking? Aloud, indeed but silently in every way. And it's time to start the day. Cheers with a Wolf Spirit Song inside a cup of cold black coffee. Be Aware Abuse is Going On, Have you become unaware? God Bless You...All, xo!
