still have my ticket stub and have some of the performances from that evening as well- duprees and nice mountains of the moon, mickey spent the entire gig running back and forth to stage front- tweaking electronic stuff I was a ways out there - in balcony but still pretty cool to see these freaks and rasaan roland kirk who was a bit heavy for my rookie teen ears- but you hang in to see your artist after opening acts

This was my first Dead show. Roland Kirk opened. Pretty amazing show.

My alma mater. Jerry rated our Library one of the ten best places in america to trip on acid so the band may have been on adventure at this show. The old student newspaper found the show plodding and were baffled at the fact that Bobby spent the whole show looking at his amplifiers. Go figure............
