    I hear brent's raw voice
    toward the end of the jam i can hear brent singing. i am guessing early to mid-80s since Jerry's voice is so clear. Maybe even '79?

    Good call Adam: My mention of Vince on the keyboard may not have been a good clue, as Jerry's vocals are good and so is his wah-wah pedal. I guessed that this performance was from a show that did not have a soundboard recording.

While I'm sure you've been listening to the Dead for longer than I have, I'm still not certain that is Vince we're hearing. Jerry's voice sounds too clear & strong for this to be in the Vince era, IMO. I'm thinking that's Brent on the keys. I could be wrong though.

The 30 Days of November for 2013 info is not on the opening dead.net page. I only found it through an email link. Great Shakedown! Vince is really rattling those keys!

folks, we're sorry to report that due to an error on our part, the current download is not "a high-quality 320Kbps MP3." We will have 320kpbs files up by next week. We're sorry for the problem but we're working on fixing it ASAP.

The unfortunate file has been replaced with a 320kbps version, so if you downloaded earlier, you might want to do so again.

I click on the 30 days of dead banner and it brings me to comments no idea where people are accessing the days download.

The homepage link on Dead.net hits this dead end, but if you remove the word "features" and its trailing slash from the URL then you will get there (the comments won't permit links or I'd just put it here! HA!)
