    Damn....
Had no idea it was "morn" that line in the song always gets me, I thought it was Moan. Either way, Morning Dew has always touched me, as soo many of The Deads Tune's Do. Thanks Bonnie Dobson, whoever you are, You are Right on! "Guess it doesnt matter anyway..... " PEACE

    Listen...
This song will bring a tear to every eye who felt that time. I was sitting at the dinner table with my brother, mom dad, myself and my brother who was 4 years older than I. He declined to sign up for the draft. It was the times where every night the Nightly News listed all those names that came up on the draft lottery, no not the big spin lottery, the draft lottery. For weeks the dinner table was consumed with arguing, animosity, just, bad vibes, and hard feelings. Then one day as we were assembled for our nightly dinner, the usual hard feelings starting to simmer, we all look up and on the little black and white 9" screen, my brothers birthdate came up in the first round. Suddenly the room stood still. There was a subtle, yet vibrant, shock in the air. Mom cried, quietly. Dad sat silently, and I was so glad my brother was sitting here next to me. I was so proud. My brother sat there and, I will never forget, was so very confident he had made the right decision, he just sat there and watched the little world around him turn, to a different view. This was at a time when neighbors upon neighbors were dealing body bags and no hope. Month's after this the war was stopped. But in the meantime, The casualties were at a all time high at the same time the war was futile. Morning Dew. Listen and wonder, how would you act, what would you do. Put your headphones on and pick a year they played it...sit back and feel the times. Bonnie Dobson penned this wonderful reflection of this time. she has not gotten the credit over the years except from the grateful dead, who plyed this songwriters work for over 20 years. A songwriter by the name of tim rose claimed credit for this, although it was Fred Neil who first recorded it. It a song reacting to the thought of a nuclear war. She sinced retired from the music business and last heard was head adminstrator for the philosphy department at the Berwick Colledge, University of London. thank you Bonnie Dobson. peace, love and hope. It's all we got. pk

Lots will open on SUNDAY! This should mean there will be a serious Shakedown street! On the ticket front: "Some patrons had attempted to purchase more than the limit of two tickets. If you had created a second account and purchased another set of tickets, you should have been notified by Ticketmaster that your order was cancelled and money was credited back to your charge card. In the event that you received tickets or TicketFast emails on a cancelled order, NOTE THAT THE BARCODE HAS BEEN INVALIDATED AND WILL NOT ALLOW ENTRY INTO THE BUILDING. Patrons with cancelled tickets will be denied entry and information will be provided for the PA State Attorney General’s Office in the event they need to file a complaint regarding any tickets purchased on the secondary market (StubHub, eBay, TicketNetwork, etc)."
