yes it is him.might have been pure happenstance that led him to say that, though. my life is now fulfilled. I posted enough useless drivel to get a rise from him. deep inside, i doubt very much Hunter said 'shut up' to too many people... I feel very honoured. "I'd like to thank the academy for this honour...." the new debate there is how to pronounce endive. "en - dive" or "on deeve"? as for my personal cuilinary preference -- need all the roughage I can get -- in a salad for sure. gotta keep regular. cheese simply blocks up the works and produces massive amounts of fluid fetid flatuance. meanwhile, where is Che Guavera? drinking Guava juice on a ski lift in Guadalhara perhaps? wow was the REAL Robert Hunter told you that? Congratulations. Still ..dude gets a number one album and next thing he thinks he can tell you what vegetables to eat! ;-) Do you like 'em in a salad or in a classic cheese sauce?

    Dylans new album
Dylan's new album "Together Through Life" comes out today. Most of the lyrics are a collaboration of him and Robert Hunter. I just went to Bob Dylan.com but they don't have the lyrics up yet but it says "coming soon". So if anyone gets the album I hope you'll give us a review. There's no record store in my town.

it makes me wonder how can the boys just sit by and let this happened....i read in an interview some years back that jerry said one of the reasons he keeps touring is that alot of people depended on the dead for there livelyhood....you ever notice back in the day how many people were up in the rafters operating the lights...the times are a changing

..having the customer service in some US Call.center would mean that they have to pay US wages to the people working there.IF they let that service do by some Chinese(..or russian) company they pay the person 2 maybe 5 bucks a day.makes sense,at least for G.D.P.Johnman,we are in the bad situation to be between 45 and 60 and nobody will give us a job .it is not economical employ an older person in your country if you can pay slavelike salaries to young, university educated people somwhere in India.Same problem here my friend, but that G,D.P.goes the same way is a slap in the face.Peace,Brother

It's a new book I bought about the Tao of activism and leadership. It uses and explains references from the Tao te Ching, one of the most important historical works of ancient Chinese philosophy, and inspires readers to become more involved in different ways and explains how the Tao can be used in today's world. I just started it and can't put it down! ~littlebri

I woke up in the middle of the night with a few of these lines making there way from my sub-concious into my semi-comatse conciousness runiig through my head... Cosmic Badger Cosmic Badger what's up with you You travel so far, that's what you do To 'WhereverthefuckitisStan' you flew Go on home, Mrs Badger's calling you Cooking up a pot of badger stew Light the fire -- put it under you Out the window a Great Tit flew Go on home, Mrs Badger's calling you Now you have just one more chance We all wanna see the Badger dance Trippin out and in a trance Poke my eyes, with a lance Meeting you in an airport bar Looking at the sky we see Dark Star Drinking beers all during the day My ears are clogged, 'what did you say?' You said you're a badger or are you a skunk Don't really know but there's a funk Is it you or is it me? Don't know, but CC's gotta pee CC Joe, the cops are on to you You are taking so damn long in the loo What you got there in your hand? What comes out is dry like sand You're feeling that 'itch' aren't you? Your old lady knows what you wanna do Poor old CC, please don't feel blue Turning her back she's just stalling you Stalling you Stalling you Stalling you Stalling you Maybe later, she says with a sigh Old CC is starting to cry No worries, mate. She's joking with you Get in bed, she says to you Get in bed, she'll be kind to you Get in bed, she'll be kind to you Get in bed, she'll be kind to you KIND TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time for reflection For Everyman, Jackson Browne. Turn it up, sit back and listen, really listen, a song for the times. A song for all of us. This is a song for those who weren't fortunate enough to leave on the wooden ships. This is a song of hope. Let's all take a moment and breathe......reflect........and look at the hope in this wonderful world. Hug your friends embrace your enemies, pull this tiny little planet back together. We have the power, for we are the everyman. Believe it if you will. If you will, it will change the beautiful blue ball in space we all call home. peace and love, brothers and sisters. pk

thankx for making that the easy click on link thang. nice, I appreciate the effort. don't know how to do that myself. that vid, was in FACT brought to our attention by none other than Mr. Robert Hunter (yeah, him!) himself. thankx rh. you can write in Jack Straw from Witchita, but anybody who is anybody, (am I somebody or anybody?) writes in Elvis Presley. Elvis Meets Nixon in one of Elvi's more (ahem) lucid moments, he got it in his head he wanted to go to D.C. and meet the Prez. Elvi (folks in Memphis call him Elvi, didn't you know? -- well, at least my old tour buddy 'Stretch' Alan did) sooo, Elvi wanted to go to D.C. to add to his collection of law enforcement badges. Nixon presented him, irony of irony, with a DEA badge. It IS the TRUTH. the full story which has some really cool links: http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/nsa/elvis/elnix.html this is some trippy shit... http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/nsa/elvis/docs/doc1.pdf one too many percosetts that morning perhaps.... I turn and walk awayThen I come round again Looks as though tomorrow I'll do pretty much the same I must turn down your offer But I'd like to ask a break You know I'm ready to give anything For anything I take Chorus Someone called my name you know I turned around to see It was midnight in the mission and the bells were not for me Come again Walking along in the mission in the rain Come again Walking along in the mission in the rain Ten years ago I walked this street, my dreams were riding tall Tonight I would be thankful Lord, for any dreams at all Some folks would be happy just to have one dream come true But everything you gather is just more that you can lose [chorus] All the things I planned to do, I only did half way Tomorrow will be Sunday, born of rainy Saturday There's some satisfaction in the San Francisco rain No matter what comes down, the mission always looks the same [chorus]

Hugs on the Way Grateful Mom shakes On the road her engine in flames She feels no pain Drunk as a skunk, the mechanic to blame Poised for a fight, she hitch-hikes - ALL RIGHT! Into the light Unlike some Mom can dance, Mom can shake, all in fun Why are we lost? I can pay, for the gas today, what is the cost? To see Mom dance Without Mom everyday, it's like a trance I will say, day by day Anyway, be who you be Mom's special to me She's dancing again, woooo weeeeeeeeeeee! Hugs on the way Well it's your happy, happy birthday today Don't go away 'Cause we love you so much, I want to say I will say, Happy b-day today! Go your own way, Mom, we love you One of a few Without Mom in the scene we'll all feel blue Hugs on the way Happy Birthday Mom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
