started by Lopezz In this installment: The Doors & Pearl Jam. I find a lot of similarities in the music of these two bands. I'm sure Pearl Jam and other Grunge bands were heavily influenced by The Doors. Pearl Jam brought back some much needed "psychedelia" to the music of the 90's. I am including the 01-15-93 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame cd that has Eddie Vedder singing with The Doors.(It was vinned separately a couple of months ago) There are some great live shows from both bands included in this vine, and of course studio outtakes as well. This vine will be around 4 dvd's, all flac files. ... will turn around soon. By the way I also still have PF #3 Vine. I would of had it out a bit sooner but due to the cold temps we have been getting, my water line became frozen and we had been living without water since Fri morn. It's amazing what having no water will do to your mood. Anyways it's been fixed and I will putter away at these and get them out by Thurs or Fri. Thanks for your patience.

because a certian on-line music and nostalgia "collector" started selling live shows. Some of which included audience recordings that have been traded free for years. I have nothing against the band( or record companys, retailers ect...) making money off of their own shows. Certainly the band has the rights to sell their shows as they see fit. However in my opinion, audience recordings(that were made with permission) should stay free. The taper(s) that recorded the show put in a lot of hard work knowing that he or she will never profit from it.
