Comments:
On the Feb 9th 1966, John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers recorded four tracks for the BBC radio show Jazz Beat. The show was broadcast three days later on the 12th Feb. These four tracks have never been officially released.
I got a few requests from friends to upload the John Mayall's Bluesbreakers "Bluesbreaking" bootleg but I can't do that as most of the material on the boot has been officially released. So what I've done is taken the four unreleased tracks which were recorded for the BBC radio show Jazz Beat, made up some new artwork and uploaded them as a separate bootleg which I've called "Blues at the Beeb". I've placed the old "Bluesbreaking" cover with the rare unpublished photos of Eric with the Bluesbreakers into the artwork folder so you have those too.
The Photos:
I am informed that the Artwork photographs belonged to Eric Clapton. They were left behind in a London flat when he moved after the formation of Cream. They are now in the possession of an American woman who spent significant time in the UK in 1964 and 1966, while she was a university student. It is thought that she spent the summer of 1964 there and some months in 1966 right after she graduated. Clapton had moved in with a bunch of American "chicks" after he returned from his "Greek Odyssey" (he'd known them since his Yardbird days when they spent the summer of 1964 in London). He left after Cream was formed either during the summer or early autumn. The photographer is unknown.

Just rolled in from out of town and opened the mail. Will burn this and send it "On The Road Again" :-)
On The Road Again
I haven't heard from OTRA, last call before I send this to Stuman...
"when life looks like easy street, there is danger at your door"
Just double checkin'
I am jonesin' for a new live 'Little Wing' since I saw Clapton a couple years ago. Anyone sent out or recieved this one yet?
Or still in limbo?
on thr road again
just sent it to you ,, chek your pm .. Have a Grate day everyone !!
this one come in on tuesday 9-2
I almost forgot to post I had this one,, also name of vine was hard to find on the disc. it just said stevie & Eric vine on it .. now has full name on it ,, to help cut down future
confusion.... will be out in a couple days ,, got a busy week .. will post when it`s out ...
Thank you Bob & Dedicated ... Peace everyone !! :-)
I got it today
Will work on this one and try to get it out to Hal R, next week. Thanks a lot Sunshine-daydream. I can't wait to check Eric and Stevie out.
I must take my lumps
for being tardy on the turnaround of this vine. My flac-ability (or lack thereof) is showing itself. If I don't have my son's buddy in town to be my helper, I struggle.
Enough of my excuses and this one is out to Hal R.
Update on Stevie and Eric
they still are awesome 40 years later, wow.
Got this one yesterday and it will be in tomorrow's mail to Gr8fulTed.
Dear Mr Fantasy
Looking forward to hearing the Stevie and Eric duo: Both are excellent showmen. Thanks Hal for the package and gracias to Bob for initiating it.
Next one for the dvd?
I have the package from Hal: I'll copy the dvd and send it on to pkpotter next.
Northbound to Wisconsin
One dvd is heading out via the U.S. Post Office today to pkpotter: strange thing about the postage...it was a buck to KC from Spokane, but $1.34 from KC to Madison??!!
You'll enjoy the variety of tunes on this disc.

Got this yesterday
Will post when it goes out. Thank you sunshine & deadicated. Memories of driving around lake Tahoe in the backseat of our family friends stationwagon listening to Blind Faith on 8-track when it came out will make this is a special treat.
And it's off
I received this one about a week ago and sorry I didn't post that i had it. I have been trying all week to fix my DVD drive without any luck. It has quit on me and i give up.
So anyway i am sending along to Joneb tomorrow (12-1). Hopefully Santa brings me a new PC so when this vine reaches its final destination I will sign back up.
