Two for each night, to go! I wonder if they'll have breakfast in the morning like they sometimes had? The hotels around there will fill up. Everything's fine in 2009! Drink the wine in 2009! Spill the wine in 2009! Over the line in 2009! Ratdog and Phil & Friends both! Hot, hot, hot! Better get on that ticket thing right away--it'll sell out in seconds maybe (hope so). Maybe Billy & Mickey??? Miss Jerry. I'm listening to the stream of last night's Pennsylvania Obama show on wklitz.com--U.S. Blues. Hope he wins, but it's always a horserace, in my opinion. "I'm Uncle Sam/That's who I am/Been hiding out/In a rock and roll band" "Raise that flag/raise it wide and high/Summertime done/Come and gone/My oh my" Fuck fascism! I'm hoping to go this year. It was 21 years ago this year that I flew out west for my first NYE shows. Wow, what a long strange trip it's been since! NYE to me is always associated with the boys because of those great NYE shows from 87-91. Wheeeee!!

I flew out from oregon for the change rocks show...had a blast...glad their doing more shows on the west coast....i am curious if anyone knows how to do this musictoday internet presale. thing...i went to their site n couldnt figure out shit except to get on livenations site for tickets...im confused...i guess i could do the mail thing with gdts. but the internet sounds more of a sure thing. as for the spring tour. i flew in from philly with billy n mickey...i had a chance to talk to them both n what not...as well as their crew...they said that there will be a spring tour FOR SURE...its not all set up yet, but they said its lookin like a NE tour....and that it should be officially released around christmas... so thats good news!

I just got my mail order all set up and in the mail with today's postmark. I figured this would be my only opportunity to see the band in their home town and exerience a NYE show. Hopefully, my oder will be filled. However, I am starting think that the shows will sell out via the MusicToday link. I just thought getting tickets via GDTS would be better. Who knows. Perhaps I will get lucky. Rock on.

We'll be coming up from La La Land for the shows and spending the week in San Fran. What else (other than, of course, the shows and the normal tourist stuff) should we do in town? Is there anything real still going on in the Haight, or is it all tourist rip-off? What else should we check out? Thanks!

Things sure do change! Used to be u could get 16 tix by writing a letter (and sending a personal check) to the Capitol Theater! Wow. All those years! Is it possible I passed them by or did they pass me? Hard to know some days.Check in on SodaHead and join "SodaHeads for Peace"(no-i'm advocating, not advertising). Enjoy whatever you eat tomorrow. Really, can u imagine if Ben Franklin had his way and the US bird was a Turkey? What did those poor critters do, anyway? Go eat something else.

Hey yeah I just booked this. Taking the wife (from NY). She's gonna get bored (!) (she enjoys the music but the marathon concerts ... she needs some breaks) - anyone want to meet and hang? Cap'n, you and your girl perhaps? There's no personal messaging on this site is there? Well if anyone wants to, lemme know - we can figure out a way to set it up. Jackie Greene supporting means he'll do a warm up set with his own band before the two main bands. This is gonna be awesome.... * * * * * * * * * * * * * * -enjoyin' the ride -There'll never be another Jerry

I have one ticket available for each night that I need to get rid off. Due to unfortunate circumstances, I will not be able to make it out to San Francisco for the shows. The tickets were purchased through Grateful Dead Ticket Sales mail order. I am looking to get rid of them at cost. If interested please send me an email Thanks.

Sure would be nice to be able to be in Florida or elsewhere on New Years and listen to the live New Year's show, like in the old days (radio broadcasts)... That would fit in the budget.since traveling to CA is not in the budget at this time. Wish I were there, am in spirit.. I can almost hear it.. Maybe next year, huh?

Just think, a world wide simulcast, streaming on every media??? What a concept.. Can it happen?

Peace and Happy New Year to everyone!!!

better comes after worse... de-"W" the world. Oh, guess we're on our way...
