GREAT SANTANA SET EAVEN A GREATER DEAD SETFun air show hot air show and the hot air baloons where cool my godson's first birthday I remember a huge pair of binoculars hanging frome a tree in the back part of the venue and a giant smerf beach ball bouncing around. :-)

Great day...sun, blue skies...fun air show...shouldn't have taken that hit...found a grassy knoll to chill on...met Paul from Carson City...I remember he had an odd scar on his forehead, like a stealie lightning bolt...he never did tell me how he got it, he just smiled...boggied all day, killer music...time stood still, a true in the moment experience...and then it was over, and we parted ways...as I was leaving, saw Paul pulled over by the cops...bummer.

My first show. I was 16, told my Dad I was going with a friend to church camp! I guess I wasn't lying because I think I found my religion! I went right up front in between Phil & Bob, and that's where I have been ever since! Santanna was fantastic too! Oh yes, and the helicopter :) !!!

when the announcer said "you can't get a high like this from drugs" as the airplanes flew thru air - When Gumby made it across the crowd cuz it was Gumby's 21st bithday When my friend Chuck stripped naked and tried to climb the stage and the white bird folks brought him back to me wrapped in a blanket and asked "do you know this guy" and for the life of me I had to think - real hard - but hey - we all let our freak flag fly and it was just his day - and we found his clothes and his car keys and his weed - untouched in a pile - only at a dead show my friends - you keep what you have by giving it away - love and peace still works

There's something magical about the music of the Dead. I don't know what it is. But I love it! Angels Camp May 28th - 30th, 2010!! Anyone from So Cal going to the show this year?

We camped and partied and listened to you guys and Santana, it was mellow all weekend even when they sprayed us in the eyes with cid. Still have a beautiful clear crystal was given it from a Vw buss that just said "take me I´m free!" Camping after this weekend just South of Big Sur and seeing Phil there was trippy cool, maybe I was still trippin´, just got a new red white and blue tye dye and we just smiled at each other and said not a word, but I knew it was you dude.

So beautiful, everyone was here, heart, mind and soul, such Love. I am forever grateful for Bill Graham whose folks offered me a job! WOW! Truly Angels!!! Lol what about the belly dancers with the swords...! Love is IT Love, hugs
