This is the show that I decided I wanted to do tie-dye. I asked everybody selling tie-dye how to do it. Nobody would tell me any thing until one guy said "Just buy the dyes and you'll figure it out." Two days later I picked up a Rollingstone mag. and in the classified section was an ad the said "make tie-dye shirts"The heavens opened,

My first show
I drove up from Boulder City, NV with a group of friends for our first Dead show... there was no turning back. A poster from this show is one of my most prized possessions.

After that there was nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile. To this day the music of the Grateful Dead gives me a deep emotional response. Sometimes it brings me to tears. I love them and miss them so much.
