Oct 26 show Kimock was cooking and Bobby on as usual
Shut up with all this Bobby vs. Phil crap...I do wish the Dead would get backtogether and bring in Karan, Kimock and Trey if he plays like he did at Glenns Falls (if not stay home Trey- I am no Phish fan)...sorry.. Phil is awesome musically but the vocals are weak at his shows with always being Phil... Ratdog is a little bit more evolved although it took Kimock a while to hit his stride he is defnitely cooking..the point is really we all would rather see THE DEAD tour not with Warren but with guys who honor Jerry by playing not exactly like Jerry but like Jerry as do Karan, Kimock, and Trey (man he was on in Glenns Falls-gues the DUI arrest sobered his musical ass up).. he was tapping the cosmic vein on that show...turned on by a friend who attended... And they should bring HUNTER Out as the OPENING act for god sake...fucked up arm or NOT the Jerry and Hunter together shows back in 80 were some of the best freaking shows ever... SO THERE!!! BOYS---one more time!! How about the Righteous Dead! Be righteous boys... and Hunter is right--Planet Drum should have sold a million..just Joe Hill alone is worth the purcahase price....get it together boys.... "if the Thunder don't get ya then the lightning will!"- The Wheel "Gonna find out something only dead men know" - Silvio Class of Red Rocks '79... Life without the Dead is not life...and so we carry on...

After moving to S.Florida from North Jersey and having the privledge of catching any number of shows, Phil & Friends or Rat, its hit or miss as to if and when either band will make it down south anyway it don't look good this year last time I actually caught a show was 2 years ago in Boca, missed Phil last year maybe I'll get lucky this summer?????Did however take my 12 year old son to see Bob and he was impressed. I remember my first show it was English Town NJ Sept '77 and it was a much different time but the lasting impression was made. See ya soon I hope.

I can't help asking myself as I debate weather to go to see Ratdog at Chastain in Atlanta - Why is Bobby not involved in the Live Earth concert on 7-7-07? Have his priorities changed?

This from RatDog Central: As many of you already know, RatDog's sterling lead guitarist, Mark Karan, is experiencing a health problem. Said Chief Dog Bob Weir, "The docs want to have a close look at our brother Mark over the next few weeks, and we're gonna have to go with that. Our old friend Steve Kimock has graciously offered to cover for him for this tour, and so we're thinking we should go with this. We'll be in touch with Mark daily, and if his docs cut him loose, we'll bring him out. The show must go on, I think, in everyone's best interest. Here's to HealingS" Steve chipped in. "First, I'd like to wish Mark a speedy recovery, and secondly, I'd like to thank Bob Weir & RatDog for this opportunity to serve our music, family, friends and community during Mark's absence. Love is a service done. Gratefully, SK." Finally, we checked in with Mark. "I really appreciate all the love and good vibes I've received since announcing my need to take a 'healing break.' I'll be very sorry to miss all these great summer shows this July, but I'll be back ASAP and I'm sure my ol' TOO-mate Senor Kimock will do his best to add something special to this run. Keep me in your prayers, and meantimeS"Hey, heyScome right awayScome and join the party everyday." Hmm, good thinking. See you down the road, Milwaukee first. --- - - - - - - - - - - - - - Spanish Jam

Ok, having spent a lot of years in Florida, I understand why it is not the most desireable place to come to during the hot, sticky summer when the weather is much nicer in most other parts of country in the summer. But on the other hand, what's wrong with the winter, fall or spring? Maybe we can get put on the list once again..?? It gets more difficult to travel out of state for a show all the time. Atlanta or the Carolinas are a long way away from south florida. looking for further... Remember.. Better comes after Worse... de-"W" the world

Myself and MANY others wonder: Where's Bob??! All we know is, he is not anywhere near Indiana, and hasn't been for a while, and from the dates I see listed, won't be. Why aren't there any dates in Indiana, or surrounding states? We are ready to take our son to his first show, and are very disappointed that Bob is nowhere near here......

I don't care if it LOOKS LIKE RAIN on 10/27/07. I'm sure the show will be a MASTERPIECE with Bobby PLAYING IN THE BAND. JACK STRAW is going to be there THROWING STONES with MY BROTHER ESAU. MAMA TRIED to make it for ONE MORE SATURDAY NIGHT at the Casino with Bobby. CASIDY is GOING TO HELL IN A BUCKET these days because THE MUSIC NEVER STOPPED the last time she was at a RAT DOG SHOW. TENNESSEE JED said there would be HELP ON THE WAY if they can ROW JIMMY across the BIG RIVER down by MAGGIE'S FARM. -WTF

This is my first visit and joining this site; glad I did. Before I got on this site I saw on the HOUSE OF BLUES site listing for NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA that Bob and Ratfish are scheduled for 11-10. I don't see the date on this official site. Well, not gonna waste your reading time just hope I'm helping.

On 10-27-07 Bob was in the zone on his second night of the fall tour. They gave us a nice Baby Blue, Ramble On Rose, and finished the first set with Dark Star part 1. Dark Star returned in the midle of the second set with part 2. They finished with One More Saturday Night and Franklins Tower. It was A Real Good Time.

First time seeing Ratdog and was favorably impressed. Highlights: The Mighty Quinn, Althea. Moved by Foolish Heart. Couldn't help but to think of Jerry. Stay well, Bob. P.S. best wishes to Mark and Marc at the Duce in Mill Valley, Ca.

Just wanted to say WOOHOO!!! Hampton beach hot show! I was up in New England a couple weeks ago and was lucky enough(ha!) to see the tour opener on friday nite. HELPSLIP opener...smokin! There was a GDTRFB in there, nice Althea, Standin on the moon into Foolish heart-tear jerker. Oh yeah, double encore with Ripple to close it out.You could tell that the GD energy was in the building and that Bobby was remembering that sad night on August 9th when he played the very same venue in 1995. I just want to say thank you, for a real good time!!! Bobby has definitely had his ups and downs in my opinion over the last 10 years, understandably so. But he can still friggin' let it rock on a given night. You can really tell how much fun Bobby has when SK is on the stage with him. Definitely a good time to go see RATBOB!!!!
