Love this chance to get back to my dancing music.
Long story; to buzzed to get into it but I shall get in better mindframe and return. I have many Dead experiences and all are positive.

    Joe Russo's Almost Dead
These guys are ruining me for wanting to listen to any run-of-the-mill latter-years Gr Dead performances (which I've been doing lately). They're entertaining! Latter-years GD sounds staid and instrumentally unimaginative in comparison - oops, I haven't heard it quite that way, contrasted w/this band's expressive vitality and versatility. (but GD might perhaps have some - some - emotional edge on 'em, when the emotion's in the music)
