Welcome back to the Tapers' Section, where this week we have some great Grateful Dead music from 1972, 1979 and 1985.
Our first stop this week is on 11/15/72 in Oklahoma City, we have some terrific first set music featuring Bird Song, Jack Straw, Candyman, Big River, Sugaree, El Paso, Box Of Rain, Deal, Cumberland Blues, Around and Around, China Cat Sunflower>I Know You Rider.
Next up is the start of the second set from 11/10/79 in Ann Arbor, MI, where we have Alabama Getaway > The Promised Land, Ship Of Fools, Samson And Delilah, Terrapin Station > Playing In The Band. By this time, Brent had been in the band for more than six months and was already a vital part of the sound that would define the Dead for the next decade.
Lastly this week is the start of the second set from 11/5/85 in Worcester, MA, featuring Shakedown Street ; Man Smart (Woman Smarter) ; Ship Of Fools > Supplication > Playin' Reprise > Don't Need Love.
