    Smooth show, Like great
Smooth show, Like great sporting event ups and downs perfectly placed by the band we all loved. Only time they attempted to go back into Crazy fingers. This Crazy fingers is as clean and soothing as any other.

    Parking Lot Mud Bath
I saw the last two nights of this run. The 28th was the better show with the St. Stephen tease and the Spanish Jam, but this last night was a lot of fun. Rained for most of the show - Bobby jumped back from the mic after nearly getting zapped early on. I'll never forget everyone banding together to push and pull a bunch of stuck cars out of the mud in the parking lot after the show. By the time everyone got out, there were probably 40-50 of us who looked like we'd been mud wrestling. I was crashing at a friend's place in Denver (was living in Telluride for a couple of years) and had to hose myself off before we could go anywhere near the inside of her house.

Red Rocks was an amazing venue. It poured a couple times I was there so we would bring tarps. I never though they played a great show there although this was probably the best. We stayed in the same hotel as the band and I got to ride the elevator with Jerry.

Somehow we ended up crashed on the lawn of the Boulder Public Library after this show. Don't know at all how that happened. Wet sleeping bags. Got up early the next day. Not the most relaxing "camping" experience!! Heh.
