Mickey and Billy also sat in w/Traffic on Gimmie Some Lovin. It SMOKED!
first "enhanced" show
the first time for me to try a little mind expanding chemicals at the dead. unfortunately the dead were a little off this night. traffic on the other hand was great

good show- bad venue
I was sitting up in nosebleed section of Giant Stadium. Not good. Sound was hard to hear over the ambient noise and talk of Dead heads. Not nearly as good a vibe as I got from Sept. 5 show in 1979 at Madison Square Garden. Now that was a show! Nevertheless, the Dead were as good as always.Traffic was great! Jerry coming out to jam with them at end of their set was truly magical. Unfortunately for me,it was my last dead show ever. Sad way to end seeing the band before their demise a very short year later.
blowin in the wind
yes this was my last show also after not seing them for a few years. i was also on top of the stadium and thought the sound was weak. not the way i wanted to remember them and i wont.
Weak Show and the last one for me
The last time I saw Garcia on stage. It was a poor show for the dead, but Traffic was great.
all of the above
It was my last show. The Dead were awful. Traffic cooked.
Such a long, long time to be gone
I went to this show on the one year anniversary of my father's death. I remember being sad and contemplative the whole day, really needing something. Then it came to me, that the show just might help. I didn't go with the same excitement and anticipation that we all have before a show, but more with a need for consolation and comfort. I got what I needed; I mean Box of Rain opener...I cried. Walking Blues, So many Roads, Eternity, Chidhoods End...Its like they knew what I needed. I Need A Miracle, Not Fade Away !!
