During this morning's weekly looong run: Download Series #4 comprising the complete 6/18/76 at the Capitol Theatre and bonus material from dates across 3 shows later in the month (with some time left over for most of the The Who's pre-Tommy set at Isle of Wight!). Typical of post-hiatus 76, this show is mellow glory with a standout 2nd set sequence initiated with a St.S>NFA>St.S hoagie into Eyes>Drumz>Wheel...video and some wondrous Donna as extras! peace, k

I've a seemingly pathological obsession with this album and its Springsteen-esque grit, pathos, and tales of weakness, struggle, and failure, but ultimately redemption, reconciliation, or simply acquiescence to the nature of your beast. peace, K

As a re-invigorated fan of the GD, I appreciate the 30 days of GD downloads, so thank you...I dunno how long they'll STAY downloaded, tech savvy I am NOT...but to tell the truth, I just might maybe possibly be getting slightly burned out on the Grateful Dead a little...and yet I find it fairly hard to listen to anything else lately...and that's OK too...

The Fillmore 1966 show Archive show, especially Viola Lee Blues, Sitting On Top Of The World, Pigpen singing the great Otis Redding song "Pain IN My Heart", also listening to Throwing Stones, a youtube version and Althea, any archived 1980's show. Looking for a good, 55-65 Male Dead Head for dancing, drinking and having fun!
