need a miracle after a death in the family
My husband, known to many as Schnieders, passed away 3/16/15 at 1:30am after a long stay in the hospital sick. It was our dream to be at this show together and now I just want to be there with him in spirit. Our family has already provided airfare and hotel for the event, and with the way that the ticket situation is, I would be honored to even get in for one night out of three, any of them, if that's all I can do. I will be in Chicago all weekend even if I can't get in. Please let me know if you have a ticket for any of the three nights, if you have two tickets together I would bring my dad to the show with me who introduced me to the Grateful Dead, and will be in Chicago with me, and spent many hours jamming with my husband to the music of the Dead, if you only have one ticket, that is okay too. Please email teatime2006@gmail.com if you can assist in any way and let me know what you need for the tickets, as I cannot afford the insanity on stubhub. Thank you for all your love over the years and the best family we have known. Lizzy (Whisper)

Bonjour à tous! I was there on time, although there's more than an ocean between us, but like so many could'nt get any. But never mind, we're coming! Who knows: maybe I could win some kind of magic pass just because I come from France, just because I've been crying for 20 years, keeping Jerry alive every first week-end of august with some friends (so many nightfall of diamonds), just because there's so much I'd love to share with you guys, me a sixty old frenchie... but cosmic CHARLIE too!

Still looking to trade Burning Man for GD50
Burning Man is sold out. The Grateful Dead is sold out. Screw the scalpers! I have an extra Burning Man ticket. Do you have extra Grateful Dead tickets? I’m thinking a straight up trade. One $380 Burning Man ticket (good for all 7 days of the festival) for one each of the three Grateful Dead shows, July 3, 4 & 5 (of any level - $59 and up, just get me in the door for each of the shows). And depending on your tickets, I may even be able to throw in a Burning Man parking pass (worth its weight in gold this year). So, if you have the extra Grateful Dead tickets and you really want to go to Burning Man, I have an extra Burning Man ticket and I really want to go to all 3 of the Grateful Dead’s final shows…let’s talk. I know that at this point, neither of us will actually have tickets in hand, but I have purchased my tickets through Ticketfly, I have the confirmation numbers and I will receive tickets in June. Assuming you do as well, we can agree to the trade and then when we actually get the tickets, we can discuss the logistics of the trade. There are many, many burners who can and will vouch for me. I make this offer out of a genuine love for both Burning Man and The Grateful Dead and an overwhelming desire to avoid scalpers and profiteers. Love & Respect, ~ Stevolution

    Hoping for some kind tickets
Hey now, I was a late comer to the bus, didn't get on until 1980 and saw my first show in '81. Racked up lots and lots of shows and friends in the meantime. Didn't make the grade though for Mail Order or TM. Really don't want to feed the beast that is the secondary ticket market, so I am hoping that a kind soul that has extra tickets will shine on me. I am looking for as little as one ticket for one show anywhere in the venue, to as many as two 3 day passes. My wife & I would love to be at all 3, but I will be entirely grateful for a single night of dancing in the seats. If you have something available, please pm me or email to gratefldiver@gmail.com. I will pay, and wish I had something to trade, but am open to what you need to let your extras go. If you are in need of lodging, I have room in my home. Dance on kind friends, Jon

Just wanted to post that I still need 3 for Shoreline if anyone has them. I am NOT paying the extra 100 per to the stinking scalpers. However I would make sure that whoever has 3 for Shoreline is nicely compensated for being kind!! angelfaedarkstar@yahoo.com ~Forever Grateful to be High on the Hill

I've been randomly looking for tickets to shows on the tour and have had plenty of luck. In some cases, the seats are nosebleeds, while others appear to be in the loge (which ain't bad). While most shows are being handled by Ticketmaster, there are six that are not. So, follow these directions and you will be connected directly to the agencies that are licensed for the following performances: (1) If you want Shoreline tickets, call 877-598-8497. (2) If you want to go to the Albany or Buffalo shows, call 888-223-6000. (3) If you're trying for either of the two the Philadelphia shows, try calling 800-298-4200. (4) For Charlottesville tix, call 800-594-8499. If the show you want to go to is being sold on Ticketmaster - keep trying, every day! TM is famous for holding seats back and releasing them at odd times. I've bought excellent seats to performances over the years by being patient and checking back. I have three extra tickets for The Dead at Madison Square Garden on April 25th,2009. The seat are: Section 341, Row E, Seats 11-9. I'm a loyal Deadhead looking to sell them at face value (including ticket master charges) $339.25. Well it's about time, please take a minute to write to your congressman!!! Well it's about time Congressman asks for investigation of Ticketmaster, TicketsNow over Springsteen By George Gombossy on February 3, 2009 2:44 PM | Permalink | Comments (0) PASCRELL SEEKS INVESTIGATION INTO TICKETMASTER BUSINESS PRACTICE WITH SUBSIDIARY, TICKETNOW Press release: WASHINGTON-- U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-08) today requested that the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) Antitrust Division investigate Ticketmaster's relationship with its subsidiary company, TicketsNow, following the company's handling of ticket sales for the Bruce Springsteen tour that became available on Monday February 2. Dear Chairman Kovacic: I am writing today to direct your attention to a potential conflict of interest regarding Ticketmaster and its affiliate company, TicketsNow. This issue has been brought to my attention through constituent complaints and press reports regarding the online sale of Bruce Springsteen concerts tickets at the IZOD Center in New Jersey and other locations all across the country. As you know, Ticketmaster is a large ticket sales and distribution company that often serves as a venue's sole ticketing agent. A large percentage of their sales are made online through Ticketmaster.com. In a recent effort expand its business Ticketmaster acquired TicketsNow, a website which specializes in the secondary, resale market for tickets. When tickets for Bruce Springsteen's new tour went on sale exclusively through Ticketmaster at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, February 2, 2009, scores of fans in New Jersey were met with technical difficulty on Ticketmaster.com that impaired them from making a purchase. Thousands of others who were fortunate enough to get beyond the technical problems were informed that the shows were sold out. Conspicuously placed on the same screen that informed fans of ticket unavailability was an alternative purchasing option from TicketsNow.com. It offered the same tickets at a value marked up hundreds of dollars beyond their original face value. I am troubled by how quickly tickets priced exponentially higher became available on the secondary market to thousands of rejected fans, many who also endured unfortunate technical problems on Ticketmaster.com. I am concerned that the business affiliation between Ticketmaster and TicketsNow may represent a conflict of interest that is detrimental to the average fan. There is a significant potential for abuse when one company is able to monopolize the primary market for a product and also directly manipulate, and profit from, the secondary market. Additionally, the speed with which tickets were made available on Ticketmaster's official resale affiliate site raises questions about whether TicketsNow brokers were given preferential treatment instead of competing on a level playing field with average consumers to purchase the tickets. With so many families struggling in this economy, I am outraged by how expensive tickets to ball games, concerts and other shows have become. I understand the economic principles that have driven up the cost of entertainment, but will not tolerate unjust business practices that put regular Americans at a disadvantage. I respectfully request that your office investigate the relationship between Ticketmaster and TicketsNow to ensure that the procedure for purchasing tickets remains fair to the average consumer. If you require any additional information or have any questions, please contact Arthur Mandel on my staff at (202) 225-5751. I look forward to the favor of your reply. Sincerely, Bill Pascrell, Jr. Member of Congress

Hey there, I bought a few too many dead tickets, and now I can't afford to go to Bonnaroo. Due to this, I have tickets each following shows up for sale/trade: Worcester 4/18 - 1 Hartford 4/26 - 2 I will gladly trade both sets of tickets for a weekend pass with camping (non-RV) to Bonnaroo. If cash is offered, I will accept no more than what I paid for the tickets. They're pricey enough as it is. All the tickets are floor seats. For more information, feel free to mail me on this site, or at me email address: redial2 [at] gmail [dot] com Thanks a ton. Also, I will be attending whichever shows I can't offload tickets for, as well as the 4/19 show in Worcester. If you're interested in carpooling, shoot me a message. -Coffee

Hi!We bought tickets (general admission) to the Shoreline show on May 10th, but after seeing today that they will be playing the gorge in washington, we would much prefer to go there since we wouldn't have to fly. If you would like these tickets for the same price I got them for ($79? i think. I cant remember right now, but we can figure it out later). Please e-mail me! I would be happy to send them to you.
