    AWESOME
This show is darn good, full of good banter between songs. Before Passenger Mickey suggests lets play a rock and roll song "Passenger" We can stretch it out" Brokedown Pallace>Playin Reprise............ Are you kidding me

    quick thoughts
A great 1st set with 1/2 Step, Loser and FotD as the highlights. The 2d set is strong with Wharf as the highlight and a very long Playing. VG set 2. 9/10 overall

    first Texas show
Moved from Jersey to Houston in Novemeber 76. This was the first Texas show I went to. I remember standing in line to use the bathroom during break and in line was a guy I had gone to High school with back in NJ.

My girlfriend and I were stoned, driving around getting ready to drive through the Baytown tunnel but I got kinda weirded out about driving through a tunnel under water and pulled over at the entrance. At that moment the radio said the Dead were just taking the stage at Hofheinz. Whipped a u-turn, got tickets at the door and walked in on El Paso. It was a great concert!
