He's on ba dus.... reminds me of an old Harry Nilsson song.... Me and my Arrow straighter than narrow where ever we go everyone knows it's me and my Arrow Me and my Arrow taking the high road where ever we go everyone knows it's me and my Arrow And in the morning when I wake up she may be gone I don't know and if we make up just to break up I'll carry on oh yes I will Me and my Arrow straighter than narrow where ever we go everyone knows it's me and my Arrow Me and my Arrow Me and my Arrow Me and my Arrow Me and my Arrow Me and my Arrow Me and my Arrow straighter than narrow where ever we go everyone knows it's me and my Arrow

I had never heard of him and I listened to both of those songs when I looked him up... I was gonna give someone else a chance to get the trivia but I guess we're the only ones on da dus again. I know the pieces fit 'cause I watched them fall away. Mildewed and smoldering. Fundamental differing. Pure intention juxtaposed will set two lovers souls in motion Disintegrating as it goes testing our communication The light that fueled our fire then has burned a hole between us so We cannot seem to reach an end crippling our communication. I know the pieces fit 'cause I watched them tumble down No fault, none to blame, it doesn't mean I don't desire to Point the finger, blame the other, watch the temple topple over. To bring the pieces back together, rediscover communication The poetry that comes from the squaring off between, And the circling is worth it. Finding beauty in the dissonance. There was a time that the pieces fit, but I watched them fall away. Mildewed and smoldering, strangled by our coveting I've done the math enough to know the dangers of our second guessing. Doomed to crumble unless we grow, and strengthen our communication. Cold silence has a tendency to atrophy any sense of compassion between supposed lovers, between supposed lovers, I know the pieces fit [8x]

It's a beautiful day in Zamunda
The rain rain went away so Holly can go out and play! I had a wonderful walk to work today, there was a cool breeze blowin the trees around, the sun is shining and there is blue sky and wispy clouds. Glad I have a window in my office. It's a beautiful morning, ah I think I'll go outside for a while And just smile Just take in some clean fresh air, boy No sense in staying inside If the weather's fine and you've got the time It's your chance to wake up and plan another brand new day Either way It's a beautiful morning, ah Each bird keeps singing his own song So long I've got to be on my way now No fun just hanging around I got to cover ground You couldn't keep me down It just ain't no good if the sun shines When you're still inside Shouldn't hide Still inside Shouldn't hide Still inside, shouldn't hide. Oh, oh, oh Ooh-ah-ah Ooh-ah-ah There will be children with robins and flowers Sunshine caresses each new waking hour Seems to me that people keep seeing more and more each day Gotta say, lead the way It's okay, brand new day Gotta say, it's okay Brand new day, gotta say, lead the way Oh, oh, oh Ooh-ah-ah Oh, oh, oh Ooh-ah-ah Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh Ooh-ah-ah Oh Ooh-ah-ah

a good day indeed The heart is a bloom Shoots up through the stony ground There's no room No space to rent in this town You're out of luck And the reason that you had to care The traffic is stuck And you're not moving anywhere You thought you'd found a friend To take you out of this place Someone you could lend a hand In return for grace It's a beautiful day Sky falls, you feel like It's a beautiful day Don't let it get away You're on the road But you've got no destination You're in the mud In the maze of her imagination You love this town Even if that doesn't ring true You've been all over And it's been all over you It's a beautiful day Don't let it get away It's a beautiful day Touch me Take me to that other place Teach me I know I'm not a hopeless case See the world in green and blue See China right in front of you See the canyons broken by cloud See the tuna fleets clearing the sea out See the Bedouin fires at night See the oil fields at first light And see the bird with a leaf in her mouth After the flood all the colors came out It was a beautiful day Don't let it get away Beautiful day Touch me Take me to that other place Reach me I know I'm not a hopeless case What you don't have you don't need it now What you don't know you can feel it somehow What you don't have you don't need it now Don't need it now Was a beautiful day

Good day sunshine, Good day sunshine, Good day sunshine. I need to laugh, and when the sun is out I've got something I can laugh about, I feel good, in a special way. I'm in love and it's a sunny day. Good day sunshine, Good day sunshine, Good day sunshine. We take a walk, the sun is shining down, Burns my feet as they touch the ground. Good day sunshine, Good day sunshine, Good day sunshine. And then we lie, beneath a shady tree, I love her and she's loving me. She feels good, she knows she's looking fine. I'm so proud to know that she is mine. Good day sunshine...

Thanks for confirmation that I passed on stones in dallas. What you saw is what I feared. With a finite entertainment budget (which was seriously blown for FTW), I'm glad I passed on the stones. I was regretting it for a while sort of. I'm sure it was fine but I want spectacular!

Rise and Shine Sunshine Daydreamers! Get out of bed and play some Grateful Dead. Only 99 days to show time. Patch those sails and shine those rails! p.s. the countdown includes "the" day of the first show. "The" day deserves it's own countdown! Oh yeah!

I know this is a bizarre question since most of us are STILL Chicago orphans...but is anyone considering a trek out to Cali at the end of June if the "official" announcement is made??? Just wondering since there is so much time, effort, positive energy, etc., put into our Chicago soiree...that's where I want to be...but I'm just thinking...might be a fun trip, too? I mean, when is going to California ever a bad thing? Totally asking too much, right?

I had a hotel res at the Hilton in Santa Clara (literally adjacent to the parking lot of Levi's) but cancelled it yesterday. To have seen the look on my wife's face when I suggested a second Dead sojourn to compliment Chicago, well, let's just say a man knows when and when not to bark up a tree... I have a personal relationship with a Sr. Executive of a very large company HQ'ed down the street from the stadium. His company has a super-box there and we've already been in communication re the show and getting me some tickets. I think it seats 20. Absolutely zero guarantees, but if the shows are announced, I do believe I can/should be able to proxy some tix to our SD family here. They won't be comped, but guarantee won't be scalped. If anyone has a potential interest, please drop me an e-mail (not a PM here) with the subject line "Santa Clara tickets." This would classify as a "miracle" but hey now, it's still worth a shot :-)

Has anyone mentioned these yet? http://www.divvybikes.com I haven't used them myself, yet, but I plan to. Divvy Bikes offer bike rentals with stations all over town. You buy a 24 hour pass for $7, that allows you pick up a bike at one place, ride it to where you want to go, and drop it off when you get there. For as many 30-minute trips in a day as you wish. So, for less than $25 bucks, you've got wheels for the entire weekend! From their web site: Divvy is a new bike sharing system featuring thousands of bikes at hundreds of stations from Andersonville to Hyde Park, available 24/7, 365 days a year. Each station has a touchscreen kiosk, station map, and a docking system that releases bikes using a member key or ride code. Sounds perfect for getting around town in July.

Hi All, I am looking for an oppertunity to get a room closer to Soldier Field and/or Union Station. Someone posted that they had extra reservations they made right after the shows were announced. Interested in reservations that are either closer or easily accessed by CTA bus or train. Don't mind short travel, just looking to leave the driving to someone else. I can transfer reservation to my name and plastic card. PM me if you can help. Thanks
