If you go to the blog I mention, you'll see a photo of a bunch of people up in a tree - not a pine tree - enjoying the show.
Foss Hill - Wesleyan University - Middletown CT - May 3, 1970
The above is how this show should be listed. It was outdoors, not in the field house, with the stage at the bottom of a hill and the audience sitting on the slope of the hill. Also note the date should be May 3, 1970, not May 2, 1970.
There is a lengthy article about this and related matters at this blog, which was published February 2, 2013. There are quotes there from various sources, including us here - even me: http://deadessays.blogspot.com/2013/02/may-3-1970-wesleyan-university.h…
In the body of the article is a link to 61 photos from the show. Mostly of the crowd, but also several of the band. I don't know how to add photos here or I would - though not all 61: http://cespurgeon.com/photos/picture.php?/1253/category/12
There is also a link to an online archive featuring an audio tape of the acoustic set, four songs. There seems to be some disagreement about the provenance of this recording. The writer of the blog says it is inaccurately attributed to the show at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, May 9. 1970. However, none of these songs are included in the set list for this show as noted here and at setlist.com, which are in complete agreement. I hope someone can confirm which account is true. Here is the link:

PS: It seems the date on the Worcester Polytechnic Institute show is incorrect as well. It should be May 9, 1970.
Thanks in advance to whomever makes the noted corrections. This way, it won't be a thankless task.
