@ Monday's Mischievous Meese Making Merry Melodies
...or mices...it's all their fault. Fairies riding butterflies are the best...they catch the last notes of a jam, swoosh out over time and space, and alight in the strangest of places. In my case, right smack dab in front of my work email, time-sheet, invoice, contract or project file. Then I hear that wisp of melody, and unseen forces require I pull up You-tube and cavort with whomever insists on supporting my daydream. If they..the fairies, butterflies, meese and you would behave, then that little cursor arrow wouldn't hop from site to site, and we would all get our tasks done, whether centered on work, play or daydreaming. However, without musical melodies massing around us, our Mondays would be that much more droll and gray-toned, so thank you wayward meese everywhere. And those who readily spin the radio dial, keep the platters spinning and the tunes a coming. We working stiffs, meandering minstrels and minstrelettes and..look a butterfly...deadheads near and far are always willing to hum along and/or whistle as we work. Reminds me of a story...

gotta water my flowers...then, write specs. Ugh, writing specs. Ugh. I'm a doer, not a director. But, this project demands it. Ugh. I'm already a week behind. Did I say "Ugh"? Should probably stay away this week, to keep my fuzzy little brain on track. Have a lovely day, and watch out for those fairies. They can be oh, so mischievous...hide your pencils, unplug your mouse. And then, they just sit there and giggle at you!

Actually not a bad Monday....at allGood morning Kristine.... You look well rested.... I'm searching for phrases To sing your praises I need to tell someone It's soon after midnight And my day has just begun A gal named Honey Took my money She was passing by It's soon after midnight And the moon is in my eye My heart is cheerful It's never fearful I've been down on the killing floors I'm in no great hurry I'm not afraid of your fury I've faced stronger walls than yours Charlotte's a harlot Dresses in scarlet Mary dresses in green It's soon after midnight And I've got a date with the fairy queen They chirp and they chatter What does it matter? They lie and they dine in their blood Two timing slim Who's ever heard of him? I'll drag his corpse through the mud It's now or never More than ever When I met you I didn't think you'd do It's soon after midnight And I don't want nobody but you

“Shining like a diamond, rolling with the dice, standing on the ledge, I show the wind how to fly. When the world gets in my face, I say, have a nice day. Have a nice day.” This song is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and make you want slap your colleagues’ backs. So go ahead and spread the Monday merriness (you could just ‘mistakenly’ forward this link to everyone in the office). Monday doesn’t have to erase the weekends so don’t worry. Friday will be here soon enough. You don’t have to reserve your passion for the weekends. Do what you love every day. Live your life and your dreams so much that when a new week starts you shout with glee: “Oh my gosh, it’s Monday!!” Bonus: Extra Ways to Feel Better on Your Monday: Prepare the night before: Get your clothing out and your hair done. Make a note (mental or physical) of what needs to be done. Get enough rest: Don't do anything too hectic or strenuous on Sunday. Have a low-key evening and get enough sleep! Have something fun to look forward to: A place to go with a group of friends at lunch or something indulgent you don't normally have. Just don't overdo it, you probably use the weekends for that. Try some natural energy boosters: Such as no-bake oats bars, kiwi or two tablespoons of oat straw extract added to your coffee. Practice breathing techniques, laughing, getting some sun, and drinking more water.

Ok so mayor Mike, where do we go....stay on the path you say, which one....there are so many roads.... Ahhhh the Golden road that Dorothy spoke of, the yellow brick road.... But to get there I have to go thru Detroit....aren't there Lions and Tigers there, yeah and then Chicago....bears? Oh my.... Hey Dorothy the meek remember if we get to see the wizard, aside from asking to go home to TO, I mean Kansas, you have to tell him that the Dead are only playing 3 shows, all in Chicago....and Trey will play Jerrys parts.....most disturbing though is that Donna won't be there..... Ooooohhhhhhhyahhhhhayyyahhhayyyyy...wait that caterwauling ....listen.... Playin like a wave up on the sand....ya here that....the Promised Land can't be far..... A little help here, I'm on this tightrope and there ain't no net....but if we stay on the path....I'm sure we will see Oz the Great and powerful, he's in the Emerald city of Bedrock..... Oh yeah brontosaurus burgers and pterodactyl stew for supper, hopefully the Great and Powerful Oz will bless the feast.....(hint, hint).... We're off to see the meister, the wonderful wizard of Oz.... Later kitties....

Whilst she slept, the Tim man had chopped off the head of a wildcat who was chasing down the Queen of the Field Mice. "Off with its head", he shrieked! All is right in the Dead.net City of Oz, except for the litter of meece, a headless wildcat, that barefoot lady with the house on top of her, and various characters in our play who might not ever look at a forum post under the Sundream Dayshiners thread ever again in the same way.... Thank you for imparting your wisdom on this thread, and showing it isn't just a great rock and roll band that can play "Space and Drums" during the middle of an otherwise structured set; characters like you can get pretty wild too. As you leave the theater of the mind, be sure to leave little crumbs so we can follow you safely out of the forest. Or, as the case may be, rescue you should you get lost. Take care, keep the stories coming this afternoon, know that the Wizard has your back, and you still have a few hours left on this April Ship of Fools Day to play your hand with us. We won't fold, we won't bluff, we won't double down, and we won't try to go all-in; that comes in July. Thanks one and all...as darkness descends this evening, fear not, the door is open, the fire burns steadily in the hearth, there is a snifter of brandy on the side table, and we'll leave the light on for you. Take care, don't ever forget your friends and family and be kind to all. Oh yes, one more thing...remember that you CAN dance as you listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock your soul, for you most certainly do know how these songs go.... Peace Geowizardfredmeister
