Week of March 27, 1995
Unreleased live Grateful Dead music from Salt lake City 2/21/95, including the only Grateful Dead performance of “Salt Lake City” (which appeared on Bob Weir’d 1978 solo album Heaven Help the Fool, also excerpted here) and a touching “Visions of Johanna.” Also in the set is “I Just Want to Make Love To You,” performed by the Dead in ’66 with Pigpen on the vocal, in ’84 with Brent Mydland singing, and this one time in ’95 with Jerry.
Enjoy!
