Blue Skies, sunshine, birds are singing... Marvelous, simply marvelous darling! doo doo-doo doo doo doo doo When I think back On all the crap I learned in high school It's a wonder I can think at all And though my lack of education Hasn't hurt me none I can read the writing on the wall Kodachrome They give us those nice bright colors They give us the greens of summers Makes you think all the world's a sunny day I got a Nikon camera I love to take a photograph So mama don't take my Kodachrome away If you took all the girls I knew When I was single And brought them all together for one night I know they'd never match my sweet imagination Everything looks worse in black and white

Geeky you are indeed correct, once you are part of it you can't go back. We are a unique breed. Kind, tolerant, accepting. The spirit of Jerry is still alive and well.... As long as we allow it to be so..... As Neil said.... First time I heard "Lie A Rolling Stone" I felt that magic and took it home Gave it a twist and made it mine But nothing was as good as the very first time Poetry rollin' off his tongue Like Hank Williams chewin' bubble gum Askin me "how does it feel?" Rollin down the road in a dream of mine Two lane tour through a state of mind. Singin in the place where I first saw Roy Playin that place gave me so much joy Flash bulbs poppin' at the stage door Brand new song with familiar chords All the time lookin for somethin' new Walkin with the devil on a twisted road Listenin to the Dead on the radio That old time music esed to soothe my soul If I ever get home I'm gonna let the good times roll Coffee is on.....

For me there will never be anything like FTW. The music was amazing! The stadium was lit as if from an eternal flame. But as I ponder my experience I only remember the music as it relates to the people. Thousands swaying to Ripple in perfect time. SDD family all around me. Teaching me about the music. Sharing the vibe. Becoming family... Althea hugs and high fives! Locking eyes with Chuck walking up the stairs then they start playing Built to Last... Listening to the music. Sharing the vibe. Family all around me. I want to thank each and every one of you.. I thought I was the only one in the world anymore who had even HEARD of them. I can remember their being at a campus event in a venue that generally had bad cover bands who butchered the stones and other popular rock acts of the time. We did not know what to make of these guys, except they were different, and good! I don't recall specifics, as that was long ago...

Top of the afternoon peeps (literally). Nothin' like some in-air GoGo wifi.....(no, rrrrrgrrrrr, not that kind of Go Go....). Okay..... so no one laugh, but I just saw this Hall and Oates concert from Dublin from last summer here on the flight. Holy shit - frickin' amazing and brought back great, great memories of their catalog of hits. Highly recommend it. Could never figure out how they were friends of the Dead but I do remember them opening up for them on the 9th of 9 straight nights at MSG in when was that?? '89? '91? Anyways, here's to hoping all the beautiful Sunshine Daydreamer's had a wonderful start to the week. Cheers !!

I had one of of those moments too. I never paid much attention to Hall & Oates other then when they were on the radio where ever I happened to be. Then I stumbled upon a show called "Live From Daryl's House" with guest Joe Walsh. Wow!!! Joe Walsh is always great, but I saw a side to Daryl Hall I never new existed. He was amazing. Same thing when he had Billy Gibbons and Todd Rungren as guests. This is a series he has been doing for seven years or so. They take place in a private studio he has put together. Best place to begin looking into this is Wikipedia.

There's plenty of T's around. I don't mind my musical commentary being mocked cause I got big big trouble on the way. The mayor will be getting home from work soon and he's gonna find out I ratted him out on his tickets. I should have thought that one through. Nowhere to run nowhere to hide. What's for dinner?

We don't need no stinking badgers.... Brah... It's all good, I'm rooting for Duke, because for all crazy ass reasons....when my daughter was accepted there 7 years ago, I refused for her to attend, cuz to me $60,000+/ year x 4 years was too much for me to handle and I didn't want her to be in that much debt....for undergrad.... Looking back it was the right choice....for us....at least.... She forgave me and we are gonna watch together, she's in town for Easter week.... Godspeed to Wisconsin...beating Caliperi was sweet.... Enjoy my friend...bet you $20.... Nah....on second thought.... I wonder who the Mayor is rooting for?

All 3-day passes are half price (half of face value). But due to the recently increased taxes and SD forum maintenance fees the sales tax for each day's ticket will be 1000%. $300 3-day pass goes for $150 plus $1050 in taxes. 1 day only you can have nose bleed no view tickets for all 3 days at only 1200 per day! Today only...

Glad to see my Blue Devil's won last night. Graduated in 83 and was there when they hired Coack K. We were not very good back then for a couple of years. Got to see Michael Jordan play in college. 3rd Dead Concert was 4/2/82 at Cameron Indoor. Volunteered to be an usher so got to see the show for free. After the first set was able to go down front and be done working. Still have my t-shirt I got that night. I believe that was the show that Jerry and Bob switched sides? Steve
