Well that was quite a buzz kill... Hope all turns out well.... Do you still say your prayers little darlin' do you go to bed at night Prayin' that tomorrow, everything will be alright But tomorrow's fall in number in number one by one You wake up and you're dying you don't even know what from Well they shot you point blank you been shot in the back Baby point blank you been fooled this time little girl that's a fact Right between the eyes baby, point blank right between the pretty lies that they tell Little girl you fell You grew up where young girls they grow up fast You took what you were handed and left behind what was asked but what they asked baby wasn't right you didn't have to live that life, I was gonna be your Romeo you were gonna be my Juliet These days you don't wait on Romeo's you wait on that welfare check and on all the pretty things that you can't ever have and on all the promises That always end up point blank, shot between the eyes Point blank like little white lies you tell to ease the pain You're walkin' in the sights, girl of point blank and it's one false move and baby the lights go out Once I dreamed we were together again baby you and me Back home in those old clubs the way we used to be We were standin' at the bar it was hard to hear The band was playin' loud and you were shoutin' somethin' in my ear You pulled my jacket off and as the drummer counted four You grabbed my hand and pulled me out on the floor You just stood there and held me, then you started dancin' slow And as I pulled you tighter I swore I'd never let you go Well I saw you last night down on the avenue Your face was in the shadows but I knew that it was you You were standin' in the doorway out of the rain You didn't answer when I called out your name You just turned, and then you looked away like just another stranger waitin' to get blown away Point blank, right between the eyes Point blank, right between the pretty lies you fell Point blank, shot straight through the heart, Yea point blank, you've been twisted up till you've become just another part of it Point blank, you're walkin' in the sights, Point blank, livin' one false move just one false move away Point blank, they caught you in their sights Point blank, did you forget how to love, girl, did you forget how to fight. Point blank they must have shot you in the head Cause point blank, bang bang baby you're dead.

Night Trixie..... Wendy: Peter where do you live Peter pan: It's a secret place. Wendy: Please, tell me! Peter pan: Would you believe me if I told you? Wendy: I promise. Peter pan: For sure. Wendy: For sure! Peter pan: I have a place where dreams are born, And time is never planned. It's not on any chart, You must find it with your heart. Never Never Land. It might be miles beyond the moon, Or right there where you stand. Just keep an open mind, And then suddenly you'll find Never Never Land. You'll have a treasure if you stay there, More precious far than gold. For once you have found your way there, You can never, never grow old. And that's my home where dreams are born, And time is never planned. Just think of lovely things. And your heart will fly on wings, Forever in Never Never Land. How the hell did one email derail my entire day? I despise power hungry people who enjoy playing with other people's lives. I caught the train, I met a dame, She was a hipster, well and a rock of dame, She was pretty, from New York City, Well and we trucked on down in that old Fairlane, (Goin' on,) With a heave and a ho, (Wo,) Well, I just couldn't let her go. (Yes I did,) Get along, sweet little woman, get along, Be on your way, Get along, sweet little woman, get along, Be on your way, With a heave, and a ho, (Love the way you walk,) I just couldn't let her go. (Yes I do now.) Well, the train kept a-rollin', all night long, (Sweet little woman, get along,) The train kept a-rollin', all night long, ([You're my queen?]) The train kept a-rollin', all night long, (Sweet little woman, get along,) The train kept a-rollin', all night long, (You're my queen) With a heave, and a ho, (Love the way you walk,) Well I just couldn't let her go, (Yes I do.) We made a stop at Albuquerque, She must have thought I was a real gone jerk, We got out the train in El Paso, Lookin' so good, Jack, I couldn't let her go. Did I see you downin a young girl's town With your mother in so much pain? I was almost there at the top of the stairs With her screamin' in the rain. Did she wake you up to tell you that It was only a change of plan? Dream up, dream up, let me fill your cup With the promise of a man. Did I see you walking with the boys Though it was not hand in hand? And was some black face in a lonely place When you could understand? Did she wake you up to tell you that It was only a change of plan? Dream up, dream up, let me fill your cup With the promise of a man. Will I see you give more than I can take? Will I only harvest some? As the days fly past will we lose our grasp Or fuse it in the sun? Did she wake you up to tell you that It was only a change of plan? Dream up, dream up, let me fill your cup With the promise of a man.

The wildwood flower grew wild on the farm,And we never knowed what it was called. Some said it was a flower and some said it was weed, I never gave it much thought ...... One day I was out there talking to my brother, Reached down for a weed to chew on, Things got fuzzy and things got blurry, And then everything was gone! Didnt know what happened, But I knew it beat the hell out of sniffin burlap. I come to and my brother was there, And he said, Whats wrong with your eyes? I said, I dont know, I was chewing on a weed. He said, Let me give it a try. We spent the rest of that day and most of that night, Trying to find my brother, Bill. Caught up with him, bout six oclock the next morning, Naked, swinging on the wind mill! He said he flew up there. I had to fly up there and bring him down, He was about half crazy ..... The very next day we picked a bunch of them weeds, And put em in the sun to dry. Then we mashed em up and chopped em up, And put em in the corncob pipe. Smokin that wildwood flower got to be a habit, We didnt see no harm. We thought it was kind of handy, Take a trip and never leave the farm! All good things gotta come to an end, And its the same with the wildwood weed. One day this feller from Washington came by, And he spied it and turned white as a sheet. Then they dug and they burned, And they burned and they dug, And they killed all our cute little weeds. Then they drove away, We just smiled and waved .......... Sittin there on that sack of seeds! Y'all come back now, hear?

Hi campers and camperettes- I've had three different kind folks bring up the fact that the Sunshine Daydream thread seems to be written in code, or that they can't quite get a handle on the issues being discussed. Please keep in mind that our Bus driver and resident wit is channeling the not only the spirit of the GD in their space-jams, but also the personalities of Jack Kerouac, Hunter Thompson, Neal Cassady and the allegorical spaciness inherent in those many years of special Kool-aid tests that Tom Wolfe wrote about so eloquently back in'68. The idea is for all of us to think "out-of-the-box" as we prepare for this grand reunion, or as some might say, just get out-there with it all (in a friendly way). Also, the Merry Pranksters took a bit of a bus ride back in '64, and the spirit of those sketchy fragmented experiences and stories, birthed during that journey, are also prevalent in the various comments we are all reading. As we get closer to our destination, please know that there may be a gradual increase in the number of posts that actually make sense, and will help to guide us to a safe landing. Until then, keep your tin-foil hats on with antennas pointed in the proper direction, tighten those seat-belts and enjoy the ride. For we are not just the best at what we do, we are the only ones that do what we do. cheers- Geo-the-voice-of-reason-meister

The lack of a Santa Clara announcement, communication or even an acknowledgement of the possibility has driven me to depression. The lack of a response from the organization and its company/administration I consider seriously insulting. I'm taking a break from the day-to-day postings. Will check PMs and e-mails. Horse is his official stage name, verifiable on his website. But he's cool with "T" as a nickname. He's excited about the bling, but refuses to get a Mohawk. He just completed performing a masterful rendition of Bob Dylan's 115Th Dream with sunglasses on.

Not withstanding my earlier characterizations, and continuing the discussion, there are many ways one can view the thoughts and the happenstance responses that find their ways onto our fine Sunshine Daydream Home Thread. For instance, within the rambling stories that weave their collective ways through these fine forum threads, there is also a discussion, a sermon, a pleading, a dream, a dance, a song or three, and a reaching out. Whether it is from a Brother or a Sister or a Father or a Mother or a Daughter or a Son, it is real...or maybe not. But guaranteed, Somebody cares about Something, be it Real or Imagined, and they are letting all of us know. Turn up the Bass, Tune the Banjo, shut up during Space, I need a ticket, Who's on first, it's important, whatever it is. So we reads, and we posts, and we explore. We share. We anticipate, we plan, we rejoice and we get saddened....hopefully, the saddened moments are brief and fleeting, and if they are not, they are somewhat lessened by the comfort our family can give. We are fed, and we feed others. We are family. Sunshine DayDream: At Once a Thread, a Home, A Couch, A Bus, A Book, a Church, a Soapbox and Thank you very much rgrgrrgr, a dining room. A Pic-i-Nic? Certainly. over there, at the SE corner of the Buckingham Fountain, in that little grove of trees. Meet-ups start as soon as you can get there, and end after the last people say adios. Bring your own everything, and a bit more for your neighbor. A Mayor? We have several, they meet here. Not unlike the park bench over at the town square in Maintown, USA, populated with those Who Make The Important Decisions, they have this place. No one is in charge, each gets to be a blowhard as the baton is passed, and all issues are carefully pondered on before a proposal is offered or a decision is made. Each is a Mayor in His/Her own right. All of us get to drive, to give advice, to give directions or ask questions or provide answers or extend a helping hand or share an encouraging word. A Horse? Now that's another issue altogether. Hey you over there with your hand up...tell us about this horse deal. Film at Eleven...thanks for staying to the end....or is it.... PS I Miss Jerry too! geopondermeister
