Well I was rollin' down the road in some cold blue steel,I had a bluesman in the back, and a beautician at the wheel. We're going downtown in the middle of the night We was laughing and I'm jokin' and we feelin' alright. Oh I'm bad, I'm nationwide. Yes I'm bad, I'm nationwide. Easin' down the highway in a new Cadillac, I had a fine fox in front, I had three more in the back. They sportin' short dresses, wearin' spike-heeled shoes, They smokin' Lucky Strikes, wearing nylon too. Welcome back, we're nationwide. Yeah we bad, we're nationwide. Well I was movin' down the road in my V-8 Ford, I had a shine on my boots, I had my sideburns lowered. With my New York brim and my gold tooth displayed, Nobody give me trouble cause they know I got it made. I'm bad, I'm nationwide. Girl I'm bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, I'm nationwide.

I've been drivin' all night, My hand's wet on the wheel There's a voice in my head That drives my heel It's my baby callin', Says: I need you here And it's a half past four And I'm shifting gear When she is lonely And the longing gets too much She sends a cable Coming in from above Don't need a phone at all We've got a thing that's called Radar Love We've got a wave in the air, Radar Love The radio's playing some forgotten song Brenda Lee's "Coming On Strong" The road has got me hypnotized And I'm speeding into a new sunrise When I get lonely, And I'm sure I've had enough She sends her comfort, Comin' in from above Don't need a letter at all We've got a thing that's called Radar Love We've got a line in the sky, Radar Love No more speed, I'm almost there Gotta keep cool now, gotta take care Last car to pass, here I go And the line of cars drove down real slow And the radio played that forgotten song Brenda Lee's "Coming On Strong" And the newsman sang his same song One more radar love is gone When I get lonely and I'm sure I've had enough She sends her comfort, coming in from above We don't need no letter at all We've got a thing that's called Radar Love We've got a line in the sky We've got a thing that's called Radar Love We've got a thing that's called, Radar Love

Dave Edmunds, Nick Lowe, Billy Bremner and Terry Sullivan....amazing musicians...even better music...Rockpile never disappointed.... Hangin' out at Frankie's; everyone was stoned The player, it was playin' something' really gone Some people, they were dancin', and, some we're clappin' hands And, some others were just lyin' close, makin' sweet romance But, the hour was growing later, and, the party had sure been fun And, when Frankie said: "C'mon, let's break it up", everybody spoke out as one Play that fast thing one more time It does something to me, and, it sure feels fine Play that fast thing one more time We're gonna be in clover, don'tcha dare turn it over Why don'tcha play that fast thing one more time All over but the shouting, the end of another show A hundred-and-ten behind 'em, there was forty-four more to go All the people had gone crazy; they'd been jumpin' up and down the aisle And, the mem'ry of their faces, how it made them poor boys smile When somebody said "Oh, c'mon now! Let's make it to the hotel room..." The doors flew back, in come the pack, shouted "Honey, you spoke too soon!" Play that fast thing one more time It does something to me, and, it sure feels fine Play that fast thing one more time You're gonna get some action if we don't get satisfaction No one leave the building 'til we play it one more time! All over but the shouting, the end of another show A hundred-and-ten behind 'em, there was forty-four more of those shows to go Somebody said, somebody said, "Let's make it to the hotel room..." When the doors flew back, in come the pack, shouted "Honey, you spoke too soon!" Play that fast thing one more time It does something to me, and, it sure feels fine Play that fast thing one more time You're gonna get some action if we don't get satisfaction I said, no one leaves the building 'til we play it one more time! It was a teenage wedding, and the old folks wished them well You could see that Pierre did truly love the mademoiselle And now the young monsieur and madame have rung the chapel bell, "C'est la vie", say the old folks, it goes to show you never can tell They furnished off an apartment with a two room Roebuck sale The coolerator was crammed with TV dinners and ginger ale, But when Pierre found work, the little money comin' worked out well "C'est la vie", say the old folks, it goes to show you never can tell They had a hi-fi phono, boy, did they let it blast Seven hundred little records, all rock, rhythm and jazz But when the sun went down, the rapid tempo of the music fell "C'est la vie", say the old folks, it goes to show you never can tell They bought a souped-up jitney, 'twas a cherry red '53, They drove it down New Orleans to celebrate their anniversary It was there that Pierre was married to the lovely mademoiselle "C'est la vie", say the old folks, it goes to show you never can tell

Wets coming down, but its opening day here in Baltimore. 3:00pm EST start to the dismantling of the Pride of Canadian Baseball (shots fired!). So I'll be in the stands for first pitch with my phone tuned to KFOG for the hopefully big announcement.. TFONTS - How was the Jimmy & the Reefers? Looked like a pretty solid setlist.

Here yee....here yee (can I borrow that, Geo?) VOL. IVX; No. 1 email is in your morning in-boxes. Gotta say, the Palm Beach parrot heads and the parking scene lot at The Cruzan was on fire yesterday. Super fun show by our home town boy too. Hey, it's Dad's Weekend up at FSU this weekend so I'm jumping in the truck and making that six hour drive north to Tallahassee to hang with my kid, slam beers in his frat house, and really get an accurate picture of how my tuition dollars are being spent :-) Love you all ! Be safe, be kind, and have a great weekend !!!! Cheers !!

Wow, great job on the T-shirts. Can't think of a more prized memento for this occasion. Like Tony said, you need a spare just to frame. No way to thank you two enough. Tennessee Ed Horse wants to order a XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXL. This is due to too much beer and Spaghetti-O'S.

I wonder if Jimmy still has that CA license plate. As I mentioned many moons ago, I'm gonna go with Caution Jam>Jack Straw. Why? Because it will give Trey a chance to find a groove with the others and if it is correct, it would be an excuse to buy a SuperDuperPowerBall lotto ticket. Those Midwesterners have the multi-millions lottery experience down pat. First thing I'd buy is a ticket for Klang to Sunday night's show. Hells yeah.
