    Hi you all, I am here, I am reading but every time I go to post I start to ramble, then I wander and then I get distracted so I come back to an hour old post and I never click "post" So this will be short yet hopefully I will actually post it :-) I love the rggrrrr suppers ready stuff, makes me want to go see Steve Hackett from Genesis. Phil is playing with my favorite non-hippie guitarist Bill Frissel on April 22 or something. Bill Frisell is really something he plays big fat melodic notes and makes great use of pauses and space. Check him out, my favorite is "good dog happy man" but his John Lennon tribute is pretty wonderful. If I lived in Cali (hint hint to Klang, I would go to that show at TRX) I nearly went for it myself, the flight was $350, the car rental out of SFO would be brutal, and to visit Marin, or point Reyes or drive through Napa would be wonderful. My patient wife could only make a 3 day trip out of it, so the 10 hours or more in travel each way made the trip seem way to brutal. You do not rush a visit to Marin. Madness and adventure is fine, but it is way more relaxing when you have all the time in the world with no pressure except the next show. Anyhow, I am trying to quit obsessing on this thing and enjoy the spring. Things will most certainly work out. I am lucky that the experience of tour has helped create the courage in me to follow a path that has led me to an opportunity to do at least some of this 50 year celebration. Whatever burdens I have taken on they seem to be out of my way for a stretch of time. woo Hoo for that !!! So with a positive vibe I may try to spend less than 2 hours a day searching for tickets, hoping for news and all of that. See some of you at Dear Jerry.. Yeow!!!! -- Tom

    Just sold, 3-day obstructed view pass for $900. Not sure if it was a legit ticket or not, but none-the-less prices are still dropping.

I didn't know about it, but already grabbed a set of U2 tix for that night at the United Center, I believe Chris did as well after I mentioned it on here a while back. I haven't seen them since 87 Joshua Tree tour and I'm curious. On another note, Do you know anything about that trade you saw today on Cash or Trade.....the Chicago for Santa Clara deal? I only ask because an hour before that Tom distributed his extras to people who requested them, of which I was one. Then I know people tried to contact him regarding the trade. I'm just wondering if anything ever became of that, because I'm in the process of booking travel from Pennsylvania to Santa Clara based on the fact that he said I was getting tix from him. I tried to reach out to him with no response as of yet. If you or anyone knows anymore or is in touch with him, can you fill me in,...kinda sweating over it now. Thanks,...hope all is well with everyone,....goodnight

Glad the show went well - People without tix - there is a dude selling four $215 tix to Chicago all or nuttin...I am good for one each night if there are three other SD people who are interested, I have pm'd the dude but need backers...people without? Stella? I need likely two others and I know that list has a lot of yellow for Chicago...

Based on the spreadsheet it looks like you and your friend will be fine. If not, I can get my hands on a pair for SC Saturday for you, beyond the pair I already have on the spreadsheet. Can't help with Sunday, but Saturday is 100%. PM me if you want to do that--$119.50 (P3) seats, although the location is a little unclear due to an error in my confirmation email. Edited: Ha! Hey Bobby check your PM...I have contacted the guy with them - it is out of my hands now...all I can do is hope and smile. I am in at SC so meh I am happy either way. Chris has made my week. I don't know that I wanna flood the dude with requests as I am sure he is going to be flooded with them, but I don't know, if others want to try, it might increase our odds. And if you score from him and have the order filled without us - cool too.

I just Emailed Tom, told him if we could get together on this, I would split with him, and then we could distribute, however the guy with tix hasn't responded to me yet. no word from Tom either about it,...it's late here in Pa. 1;28am and I have to get up at 6;00 for work,...i'll wait a bit,...then gotta get some sleep

National Record Day....and after a bit gonna be heading over to Record Theatre to peruse their vinyl.... Happy Saturday folks....!!!! A bit foggy here after a late night....of sin and gin.... Not sure what I win, but I am the first camper awake here.... Thanks ever so much Stella for briving the dus..... a few hundred showed up last night at the Waiting room, and it was way cool.... considering he played opposite Modest Mouse at Ani DiFrancos joint just across the street... Music is alive and well in da Buff...revitalizing downtown.... sounds like a deal went down....so congrats to someone....have to re read the details.... Going out to a local greasy spoon for breakfast, once the contingent awakens If you can make it to the corner of Klein and Hopkins....it's on me today.... Have a safe, sunny salubrious day kids......

I gotta go to my local record store - my admin assistant owns it with her husband and she tol' me I gots to come. I will be contactable by email - those that have the very first SD list - I am on that. I will have my phone on me so will respond. We have to discuss some ins and outs on the miracle that was sent from on high to us. Simply a case of demand outstripping supply...but if the sandbox is big enough, we can all make castles. More and more people are emailing me to get in with multiple requests - we are already outstripped by vast numbers so we will need to work together to get as many in as possible. Stella has thrown her no views into the pot for each night making it 4 premiums and 1 no view and 7 confirmed (me included) and 2 more wanting - 9 for a total of 15 tickets. If I back out for the sake of my marriage that makes the numbers not much better. Some of you who are dying for multiples, I would kindly ask that you consider trying to get as many different people in as possible - the greater good people. I am now (thanks Jim) 100% sure that all will get who want to. This community is amazing and full of truly kind and wonderful people. Peace y'all

So I have made the purchase from Jim - amazing guy that he is. As I said in the previous post, there are too many people that want tix than what we have. I would like to go the 4th and 5th and want to spread them around as much as I can...that said, can all of you that have previously contacted me, send me your email and we get a group discussion going as to who gets what? I don't want to say no to anyone - sorry new comers - but also want the decisions to be done by the group, not by an individual. Sound fair?

OK so I am in y'all!!! WOOOOOO HOOOO Jim is the man and he made a bunch of people happy - thanks buddy, I would love to meet up in SF and buy you whatever you're drinkin' Sooooo, ok I tried to post before and since it logged me out, it rejected my comments :( Um, I will be a part of this whole SD thing, no t-shirt required, just kindness! I forgot about the coffee thing...may be an issue unless I can take my smaller rig with me (and my wife already wants me dead...) my bigger setup suitable for a coffee shop sort of needs to be plumbed or at least a portable pump for it to pressurize the lines, so may not be the best call...that and that mountie on your horse there, Mr Ed, may have words with me coming back across the border once I am done! Heck, mr Lawman in ND may also have issues with me brining $7k worth of gear in! "seriously officer, it is just to make coffee for a band of misfits in a park before a Dead show..." "step out of the car please, sir..." - rubber glove snaps - As for my time there I am now officially looking for some digs to share for the 4th and 5th...if not that's cool and I will totally stay in the suburbs and train it in nightly for the shows...this is what happens when you are late to the game! If you have digs and you want to split the costs and don't mind another bum sleeping on your couch like in the old days, I will gratefully help out! Peace brothers and sistas!

Dude may be righteous, just everything vanished so I got cold feet. I need a warm fuzzy feeling for something that requires a lot of trust - and this requires A LOT of trust. Vanished emails and no communication scares the poop out of me. Dude may be at work and can't communicate. Like I said - it may not be a scam and if they come up again and you feel so inclined, by all means. The fact he posted them as sold also bodes well for him...who knows I may be the unbelievably stupid one here. I wanted to do right by everyone here but...alas.

I want to be TOTALLY clear - seller may be completely on the up and up. He may be at work and unable to communicate - he was incommunicado last night until late too. It is just weird that only his emails disappeared from my server. It may be totally on my end - and if it is, I want to apologize to Jim for potentially damaging his image on here. I mean no disrespect and I don't want to say that he has scammed me. It is my fault for not getting more info from him - so phone number and location where he is. The GDTS confirmation email he sent was legit and sent right after rrrrrrrrrrgrrrrrrrr's and the number sequence made sense. So no reason NOT to trust him. I may have just crapped the bed on the best offer I will ever get for these tickets. To all I apologize

I don't follow what you mean by "vanished emails" from your MS Outlook Inbox. That would require hacking into your computer. Maybe you accidentally deleted them, have you checked your Deleted Items? Are you saying all emails from him are completely gone from Inbox and Deleted Items?
