Hello Cosmic Badger, I have read on The Ark Vine that you were going to do a vine of these three nights but you were beaten to it.Can I persuade you to do a Euro version anyway? To my ears you can't beat 1969 and you particularly can't beat the 1969 Dark Stars. While I've got my begging boots on has anyone got good recordings of Copenhagen 14-4-1972 and 17-4-1972 and Rotterdam 10-5-1972 and 11-5-1972. Thanks for organising the Reconstruction Vine.I haven't heard any of the concerts so it could be interesting.

The band hates that album, I think
I've asked about why it wasn't included in the box set(s) w/bonus material like all the other "studio" albums, and I've read about it in different books, and my understanding is that the tapes were/are not very good, they'd been gone over so many times during the original production, lots of overdubs and crap. I think an engineer was fired during the course of mastering, and Jerry and Phil took it over but I got the impression they finally gave up. But I'm certainly not an authority, and it doesn't sound so bad to me. ********************************************* I have a sigfile! --> www.kindveggieburritos.com *********************************************

I truly think that this album is one of the most underrated albums by the boys. It was my first purchase of the library and loved it. HOWEVER......nobody has had the testicular fortitude to release it as the other ones have been with TONS of "bonus" material. hen will they choose to do so with this one?I can't even find it in "the store"! My collection is pretty extensive, but what I would't do to hear that PRISTINE version of " Cold Rain & Snow" again.

What can I say.Reconstruction,The Ark,Copenhagen and Neil Young. You are a seriously top boy!As a computer novice I have no idea how to set up a vine but I will do what I can and if that is not enough I will ask for help.I've thought it would be nice to set up a Cowboy Junkies vine so if I find out how to do it I will get round to it. Contact details are the same. Look forward to seeing you at SOL

Cosmic Badger As you have read Greg has dealt with half my request and I can wait for two months for the other half. If listening to the Dead has tought me anything it is that sometimes you have to wait awhile for that special moment. Good luck on your travels.

I was in Sam’s Club the other day and there was a record player that had a slot for tapes too.
Tapes and vinyl are coming back in style.
I’m holding out for the record player that has a slot for 8-track.
