I lost my job and just found a new one, so I am no longer able to make the trek to Chicago :-(I purchased my tickets through GDTSTOO, so I have no idea where they are other than they are premium reserved seats. All I have for now is the email from them confirming they are filling my order. If you are interested in buying the tickets, please let me know. I'd prefer if it was someone local to exchange the tix for cash when they are distributed. I am in the SF Bay area. Eight to 12 lucky Deadheads will get their chance for a miracle in the parking lot at Levi's Stadium on 6/27 & 6/28. Me and my uncles have between eight and 12 extra tickets for both shows at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara. A Deadhead since 1979, we have benefitted from the generosity of Deadheads and thus, we'd like to pay this forward. This long, strange trip doesn't end with scalpers; since it began with Deadheads, so shall it end the same way. SYF! Tickets will be sold as is, meaning you get it for what we paid for it, including service fees, and NOTHING more. There will be no scalping on my watch, so tell me your story. Just read this on Facebook. Really too bad. It breeds bad feeling - don't let it happen to you! I've changed some of the text with "***" :) "I'm sure I'm not the only person who was stupid enough to send money out to somebody in hopes of them being a decent person and honoring their word. I spent 2 hours talking with this dude I met on Craigslist who was selling a 3 day pass, feeling him out. I saw the order confirmation he got when he bought the tickets on Ticketmaster, etc.. After telling me in detail about the hundreds of shows he's seen, and all the wonderful people and music he'd embraced over the years, he f***** me. He took my cash and what I hope I had left in mankind with him. I know I'm young, dumb, and naive and I expect a million comments saying things like "well what the f*** did you expect idiot, you sent out money to a complete stranger" but mainly what I need right now is some encouragement. I have the days off work, and can potentially earn enough cheddar to make the show by July but am seriously butthurt. I've been fucked in the past, but never by somebody who I thought was such a good person. All the best fellow heads, and I hope to see you there. If not, I will be there in spirit, down in the pit, sweatin' tongue emoticon."

I don't understand how people wake up in the morning and plan to do harm, rob and con people out of money. I feel for this person out some $$$. Unfortunately, this will be the beginning of crooks and con men ripping people off. The big hit will be when tickets are finally mailed and counterfeits come on the market. Be careful people...... If this was paid via PayPal with a PayPal invoice and run though credit card then chances would be high that the CC company would cover it. I wonder how they know they have been burned at this point? No more communication or one that says you have been burned?
