Hey there Daydreamers, Trying to keep our heads above water here in the Mississippi river Valley We may need a boat to row before too long. Hopefully the bus has oars! We managed to hike 9.5 miles in the St. Francois mtns but had to turn back early, due to high water Biding our time in the river city before we journey to the windy city. Man the sails dus briver the winds are high!

Last Saturday night, I got married,Me and my wife settled down Now me and my wife are parted, I'm gonna take another stroll downtown Sometimes I live in the country, Sometimes I live in town Sometimes I take a great notion, To jump into the river and drown I love Irene, God knows I do, I'll love her till the seas run dry But if Irene should turn me down, I'd take the morphine and die Stop rambling, stop your gambling, Stop staying out late at night Go home to your wife and your family, Stay there by your fireside bright So goodnight Irene, goodnight..... I'll see you in my dreams...

Whew! That was a loooooong nap I took in the back there, eh? Thanks for the constant lullabies there. Make for sweet dreaming. 41 posts later... Hey. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!! This is a special day! Have a sweet one all you dads and daddies. :) Say. Something really cool happened on Thursday (my mom's birthday incidentally). I got my first paid editing gig that night that wasn't from a friend, family member, or school newspaper, so... Thanks. I know it's a part of the motion that made me: 1) Read Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (FINALLY) on a beach in Thailand in December 2) Decide on a meditation cushion in Burma in January that I was going to see the Dead 3) Look into it right on time when I got home and set about it with an open hand 4) Bring those golden intentions to fruition 5) Be open to joining up with y'all 6) Continue to dream and voice what I would like in my life while keeping this current one afloat... Sometimes this bus feels like a monastery/a mirror, or maybe a spot to work out those kinks we got wrong in kindergarten. Anyhow. Sometimes y'all bring out the best in me, so thank you. Okay. Clearly delirious. Someone tell me to go back to sleep. I know all your voices chatting away will sound like a river singing sweet songs. xo

    Chicago psychedelic art.. sort of
Hey there, I hope the forum lets me post links, sometimes it freaks out and thinks links imply spam. Anyhow.. I was viewing some images produced by stacked neural networks here.. pretty groovy stuff. http://googleresearch.blogspot.com/2015/06/inceptionism-going-deeper-in… In that collection there is a neural net generated freak out of Georges Searut's pointilist painting " A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte".. seeing that I realized that the "la Grande Jatte" painting is in Chicago, within walking distance of the concert. The painting is huge, like 10 feet long. Sort of a nice thing to stare out when feeling grateful. -- Tom

I imagine the post-Chitown SD fallout will see a lot of accidental tourism, hijinx and belly laughs--all fueled by the boldest roast in the land. Oh, and the food, we can't forget the food. Some will shine rails, others will patch . . . spreadsheets. From the Florida beaches to the snowbanks of some frozen, underpopulated bastion of all things NFL, and all points west between, Daydreamers will come together with their SD Tees (note--do not mix up that acronym!) and shake hands not as strangers but as newfound friends and family all because of a single ripple in time that occurs every half century or so. No doubt that if the band took a gander at us, they'd say "One month so far."

Just saw on the early morning news that a local man was found dead behind a grocery store dumpster. He was found face down covered with Cornflakes and milk and had a banana sticking out of his ass. The authorities think it was the work of a cereal killer!!! ; )

Can't wait to C photos of Luna and hear about her favorite song! Bird Song? I'm thinking there will be so many critters that we will need a spreadsheet. Tony, what's up man? Had a couple extra ounces of java this morning and it probably shows! Have a great Administrative Professionals Day, everyone!

To drink already today, I think I had better take the wheel. I just had half a veggie burrito and I'm about to re-up on the java (just got some beans called Silken Splendor from a vendor called Philz), so I'm good for a couple hours. Was verbally attacked by a crankster at a bus stop a little while ago for being on my phone (I was emailing the SDers, obvi), so I'm feeling grateful that I have a good attitude and generally try to stay positive (you know. GENERALLY - unless someone really deserves it ;). Okay. I got this - until the scenery gets too goo [sic] then someone else's turn, okay?
