    First for me as well.
Me and a few friends had got jobs working on boats in the Gulf Of Mexico. After being at sea for 4 weeks I got off in New Orleans with my first paycheck. I caught a plane for Houston and got there just in time for the show. It was so good I just had to see the next two shows in Austin & Oklahoma City. Back then It was pretty mellow and I was well taken care of by fellow dead heads.

    First Show
Good music in hind sight. My first show, remenber my first experience with the GD family, handed a front row ticket by "dave". I was at my first show after listening to the band for 5-6 years, 22 years old hanging over the rail, a guy looked up and said, "I gotta go", held his stub up to me from the floor, Jerry side. I took the stub, ran to the back of the arena, dead center, I was on the floor, ran to the next security guard, he looked at my ticket and waved me on, I had not even looked at the stub, the next guard looked at my stub and sent me forward, the next two guards just looked at my grin and waved me forward, next thing I knew I was front row looking up at Jerry dead center, The security guard looked at my stub and pushed me to the right. Down, down, the third to the last seat, front row, I was looking under Brents keyboards to see him. A guy and girl were there to greet me. They said, welcome, you have Dave's ticket,'he had to go" !!!!
