I have an extra Pit Ticket for Sunday July 5th. I bought a couple on Ebay for what I think is a good price, $1600. Most other auctions have been considerably higher. I'll offer it here to SD'ers for $50 less than what I paid for it, $750. Won't have it of course for a few weeks. Other extra is PTF on Saturday July 4th after the Dead at Reggie's 11:00 pm. So I'm sitting here at work, listening to some Jerry and once again I'm reminded why I love his playing so much. The sincerity, tenacity,and authenticity of his playing just floors me sometimes. Every push, pull, slide, or bend of a string means something. Trey better deliver. I'll be smuggling tomatoes into Soldier Field just in I need to add some vegetables to some noodling. I'm hoping for a 3 course meal with dessert though. And them ain't no rotten tomotoes from the back of the dus either, but maybe some leftover picnic goodies. Like Ma always says, waste not, want not. Home is where the heart is.
