Let us be lovers, we'll marry our fortunes together I've got some real estate in my bag So we bought a pack of cigarettes and Mrs. Wagner's pies And we walked off, walked off, walked off,to look for America Kathy, I said, as we boarded the greyhound in Pittsburgh Michigan seems like a dream to me now Took me four days to hitchhike from Saginaw They've all gone to look for America All gone to look for America Laughing on the bus, playing games with faces She said the man in the gabardine suit was a spy I said be careful, his bow tie is really a camera "Kathy, I'm lost", I said, although I knew she was sleeping I'm empty and aching and I don't know why I'm Counting the cars on the New Jersey turnpike And they've all gone to look for America All gone to look for America All gone to look for America Son of a bitch....now I miss Chris Squire too...

    Went to Saturday, streamed Sunday
Saturday was great and very magical. Rainbows, sunsets and fireworks. Amazing! Sunday was also very good, had some trouble with the stream. I had to pause it for a while and as long as I was a few minutes behind the live feed it was good. Trey did a really good job I would have to say. Picking nits my complaints would be his solos sounded a little scripted and he is a tease. He builds up like he is gonna go off, then as soon as you think he is gonna break out, he backs off and brings it back down to the song. Not bad overall though, and he had some real brilliant moments during the jazz jams and bluesy numbers. I thought they sounded great as a group and pretty tight and clean considering the circumstances. It was so good it brought a tear to my eye a couple of times. I really enjoyed it and thought it was worth every penny. I found the negative comments below the jambase review to be completely unfounded. "Train wreck" and "just aweful" were terms that were used and it was not that way at all for me. Seems like some people made up their minds that it was gonna suck before going so it wouldn't matter how good they sounded; those peeps were gonna hate it anyway. Then why go?

let's bring it down a notch.... Memories of a lonely past A boat set into the wind Drifting lost in waters of doubt On a journey that has no end Torn and faded photographs A chestful of old goodbyes Tear streaked faces by the light of the moon Here on a river of fools Here on a river of fools A trio of angels holding candles of light Guide the ship to an unknown shore Sad soul riders with arms drawn tight As they stopped for just one more Fingers pointed to a star in the sky A message from someone they can't see Tear streaked faces by the light of the moon Here on a river of fools Here on a river of fools Traveling along a cloudy path With a wing, a heart, and a prayer Pieces fall from the heavens above To a place they know not where A string of beads in trembling hands Heading close to the judgement day Tear streaked faces by the light of the moon Here on a river of fools Here on a river of fools That's why Kyle had us all patch those sails and shine them rails.....thanks Totes.... Back in the 80's, my dad took the entire video of my brother's wedding with the camera upside down. The last thing on the recording is his grumbly baritone growling ... "godammit, you mean I've had this fucking thing..." One of my life's true precious memories. Man oh man, I miss that man.
