stop me if I've gone too far...I can get carried away... I want to live, I want to give I've been a miner for a heart of gold. It's these expressions I never give That keep me searching for a heart of gold. And I'm getting old. Keep me searching for a heart of gold And I'm getting old. I've been to Hollywood I've been to Redwood I crossed the ocean for a heart of gold. I've been in my mind, It's such a fine line That keeps me searching for a heart of gold. And I'm getting old. Keeps me searching for a heart of gold And I'm getting old. Keep me searching for a heart of gold. You keep me searching and I'm growing old. Keep me searching for a heart of gold I've been a miner for a heart of gold.

Woke up this mornin' My head was so bad The worst hangover I ever had What happened to me that night That girl of mine She love me so right She love me so long She love me so hard I finally passed out in her front yard It wasn't wine I had too much of It was a double shot of my baby's love A double shot of my baby's love Yeah yeah yeah A double shot of my baby's love Yeah yeah yeah A portion that I had too much of A double shot of my baby's love Give me such a thrill It was very unique Man, I was lookin' in ecstacy She had me turnin' flips And shoutin' out loud A shot of her love I was walkin' on a cloud One night a week Is plenty enough It's a good thing for me They don't bottle this stuff Well, my heart begins to fly like a dove When I take a double shot of my baby's love A double shot of my baby's love Yeah yeah yeah A double shot of my baby's love Yeah yeah yeah A portion that I had too much of A double shot of my baby's love Woke up this mornin' My head was so bad The worst hangover I ever had What happened to me that night That girl of mine She love me so right She love me so long She love me so hard I finally passed out in her front yard It wasn't wine I had too much of It was a double shot of my baby's love A double shot of my baby's love Yeah yeah yeah A double shot of my baby's love Yeah yeah yeah A portion that I had too much of It was a double shot of my baby's love A double shot of my baby's love A double shot of my baby's love A portion that I had too much of It was a double shot of my baby's love Sarge has left the building!!!!!!

Why thank you. Have yourself a good evening, pat Sarge on the head for me. There's colors on the street Red, white and blue People shufflin' their feet People sleepin' in their shoes But there's a warnin' sign on the road ahead There's a lot of people sayin' we'd be better off dead Don't feel like Satan, but I am to them So I try to forget it, any way I can. Keep on rockin' in the free world, Keep on rockin' in the free world Keep on rockin' in the free world, Keep on rockin' in the free world. I see a woman in the night With a baby in her hand Under an old street light Near a garbage can Now she puts the kid away, and she's gone to get a hit She hates her life, and what she's done to it There's one more kid that will never go to school Never get to fall in love, never get to be cool. Keep on rockin' in the free world, Keep on rockin' in the free world Keep on rockin' in the free world, Keep on rockin' in the free world. We got a thousand points of light For the homeless man We got a kinder, gentler, Machine gun hand We got department stores and toilet paper Got styrofoam boxes for the ozone layer Got a man of the people, says keep hope alive Got fuel to burn, got roads to drive. Keep on rockin' in the free world, Keep on rockin' in the free world Keep on rockin' in the free world, Keep on rockin' in the free world.

I am known to shoot a good game of pool. I sorta grew up in a pool hall...that might explain a lot. Queen's greatest hits was my 2nd CD, my dad bought it for me. Ooh, you make me live Whatever this world can give to me It's you, you're all I see Ooh, you make me live now honey Ooh, you make me live You're the best friend That I ever had I've been with you such a long time You're my sunshine And I want you to know That my feelings are true I really love you You're my best friend Ooh, you make me live I've been wandering round But I still come back to you In rain or shine You've stood by me girl I'm happy at home (happy at home) You're my best friend. Ooh, you make me live Whenever this world is cruel to me I got you to help me forgive Ooh, you make me live now honey Ooh, you make me live You're the first one When things turn out bad You know I'll never be lonely You're my only one And I love the things I really love the things that you do You're my best friend Ooh, you make me live. I'm happy, happy at home You're my best friend You're my best friend Ooh, you make me live You, you're my best friend.

Hey, I called you Trixie..... Yeah, it's been a long hard road here in da Buff..... To quote Tom Waits.... Ain't got no spare, ain't got no jack.... Don't give a shit...ain't goin back.... Life's been good to me so far...... She got high on lovin' Sorry but I'm passing through Maybe I got a toothpick In the bottom of my walkin' shoes This ain't a town for tear drops Or tattoo regrets Nah, yeah Sneakin' out the back way In the middle of a starry night Ain't gonna be remembered For all the things that I did right Can't say I need you, can't say I don't But I won't And no need to miss me when I'm gone And no need to miss me when I'm gone And no need to miss me when I'm gone And no need to miss me when I'm gone I wouldn't have very long

man, you guys have been married since I was 1 year old. CONGRATS! You musta done somethin' right for her to keep you around. Say hi to her from Matt and I. And to Junior as well. BTW how was his show the other night? Catch ya on the flip side Sometimes I feel like i am leaving life behind My hands are moving faster than the movement of my mind Thoughts and generations of my dreams are yet unborn I hope that I will find them 'fore my moving gets too worn If only I could live to see the dawning of the dawn So we go on moving trying to make this image real Straining every nerve not knowing what we really feel Straining every nerve ending and everybody sees That what they read in the Rolling Stone has really come to be And trying to avoid a taste of that reality On an early New York mornin' a mirror in the hall Showed to me a face I didn't know at all Lines were drawn around a pair of eyes that opened wide When I looked into the mouth there was nothing left inside So I walked into the little room and whistled like a sigh As dawn light closed around me my head was still in gear Thinking thoughts of playing more and singing loud and clear Trying to reach a friend somewhere and make that person smile Maybe pull myself away from that old lonesome mile That often comes to haunt me in the morning All my friends keep telling me that it would be a shame To break up such a grand success and tear apart a name But all I know is what I feel whenever I'm not playin' Emptiness ain't where it's at and neither's feeling pain Well now what is going to happen now is anybody's guess If I can't spend my time with love I guess I need a rest Time is getting late now and the sun is getting low My body's getting tired of carryin' another's load And sunshine's waiting for me a little further down the road

Back in the 80's, my dad took the entire video of my brother's wedding with the camera upside down. The last thing on the recording is his grumbly baritone growling ... "godammit, you mean I've had this fucking thing..." One of my life's true precious memories. Man oh man, I miss that man.
