Just to clarify my current role in this journey of life .... As of July 6th, I have become briver emeritus...... The torch has been passed down a generation, just like Phil n Friends and Billy and the Kids.... Ellie Mae is steering....I offer navigational support.... Allowing me to watch life go by.... It is remarkable, that many of us share those thoughts...after the GD splashed their mystical musical miracles on our consciousnesses, no other band would do. Life's philosophy, the journey, developing a creed to live life by, whether a mission, a way of life, whatever it may be...a good dose of the Boy's music and friends and family close by makes it all that much better. You are in fine company, Sir Briver, and we salute you and your spirit!

Watching the sun rise and reflecting on nothing in particular this morning. Took Lainie and some friends to see History of the Eagles tour last night at local hockey arena... Two sets over 3 hours, Bernie Leadon back picking banjo...started promising, Frey and Henley playing acoustic sitting on amps....Saturday Night and Train Leaves Here This Morning.... Exceptional sound, exhaustive setlist, great light show.... They gave nods to Jackson Browne, Richie Furay, JD Souther and Linda Ronstadt.... Walking back to the car, Elaine and friends thanked me and raved about the show.... They asked what I thought....I replied they are very polished, Elaine who's known me for 34 years, said why didn't you like it....I said, cause they went through the motions, I didn't feel it...they've go no heart... The exact same response I gave her following the Stones show last Saturday.... she said...what did you expect, the Grateful Dead.... Yes....the Dead changed my life, my friends, my life philosophy and my appreciation of music and my expectations... I have become a music snob... I am a Deadhead and I miss Jerry.... coffee is on....
